No way ver could use his hit, ie, mafia did our work for us, why would they kill one of the towns major targets? Shows inexperience. So no, ver could not have used his hit.

Hm, I'm almost inclined to think that they are either unorganized or inexperienced, or both. It obviously suits them to keep Scar in, so I'm wondering what they are thinking. In any case, I'm just going to keep in mind that this MAY mean the 'vet' players are less likely to be mafia. Unless it's a trap. And this is what I love about this game.

"Qatols killer, an athlete, and someone armed to the teeth. I Propose that this mafia is JeeJee
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=JeeJee
there is jeejee’s profile. We see his profile lists what you need to do to be a top athlete, which explains why he could jump on the chairs repeatedly without falling. It also states that not to fear the person but their skill and ability, This explains why he was armed heavily, Qatol is a top notch mafia player, which means you would need a lot to take him down, so he armed himself accordingly. Lastly, the way he knifed qatols hand matches another part of the clue. He was rocking the knife back in forth in his hand, much like someone trying to lodge a shovel into a hard part in the ground you rock it back and forth to make a spot to get a good grip.
He has that he is a dig power user in his profile."
Rice's profile picture is of the gravediggaz so I think it kind of has to be Rice or JeeJee at this point. Love your analysis of Kennigit (who has laid low all game), and Humbug.
Mafia does seem kind of dumb but remember Ver's post against him came (I'm pretty sure) after night had already gone 24 hours so mafia probably had sent in their hits by then (can they change them with a later pm?) Scaramanga might have been seen as the best player not on Ace's protection list or maybe Scaramanga was successful in faking being a vigi.

I agree, I really like BloodyCobbler's analysis fitting Camlito's killer to Humbug. All the elements of his name (deception, connection to greed/unable to let things go) fits the sequence of events in which Camlito died. In addition to the clue analysis, I don't think Humbug has posted yet, which indicates he's either inactive or possibly a Mafioso trying to lie low. I also liked his linking Scaramanga's killer to Kennigit, in no small part because this was a connection I thought of but dismissed as a reach because of the explosives. Still, both are definitely worth exploring/keeping in mind/possibly clue-checking or role-checking by a stray detective, if possible.
Oh, and having read the rationale for voting for a double lynch, I guess I can agree with it.
I vote for double lynch.

I'm going to argue that the Mafia hit last night was actually pretty well thought out. They got 4 players are very valuable to the town and they caught a Bodyguard. Really, if SoG didn't get a good insta-lynch on RoL we'd be in some deep shit. Also if you notice from last night's kills no one has stepped forward to say they were protected from a hit last night - this is why I asked why BC jailed me of all people.
I would have rather have the town discussed who deserved to be jailed ahead of time, as we aren't sure I'd be successfully hit tonight. There's still a major piece of information missing for me to make a conclusion and for that to happen I'll need to know if any medics stopped a hit last night. I don't need for the medics to confirm this, I'd rather have the TARGET confirm it. As in, if you were hit last night and got a PM saying you survived publicly claim it asap. This doesn't hurt the town at all because obviously Mafia already know who they tried to hit. Their are no Veteran roles so if you didn't die you just had to be protected. Let the town know as soon as possible.

Oh and I like the connection to Humbug better than anything else.

I must have missed it, and don't feel like digging though the pages again. What's the connection to Humbug, if you care to restate it.

Lol, how would you know how good the clues are at this point if you aren't mafia? No one has tied a clue to Rebirth of Legend, it's possible he died before a clue was made for him, so we don't know how the clues might be working this game yet.
well the game would be rather pointless if all of the clues were dead giveaways..

anyways, I'm out for now be back some time tomorrow.

#I vote for double lynch
haven't decided who to lynch yet.
BTW the Humbug clue you guys are talking about - the theme of deception - fits well with the killer on Day 1 who helped Chuiu up and then stabbed him.

huh? I don't understand how this means I distrust him. I just like the fact that Humbug being inactive is a better option for today's lynch.

The way I see it, mandalor is guaranteed mafia or miller. If semioldguy is innocent, mandalor has to be either a miller or mafia. If semioldguy is mafia, he's probably sacrificing one of his own or a DT trusted him and told him about a mafia he found and semioldguy knows he's a miller and is faking being a DT (if a DT dies tonight before being able to come out and talk about it this may be worth looking deeper into). Basically, mandalor basically has to be mafia or miller at this point. If he turns red mafia is down a KP for tonight. Seems a better risk than the humbug clue that could be for bumatlarge.

I'm not sure I trust semioldguy and this is why I ask you for help on whether I should since I know you're a good player.

Seeing as how I was completely ignored the first time around:
GUYS. Why are we voting for Rice? The knife clue is really, really stupid. Remember Midnight Gladius? remember all the games where we lynched him because of the knife? Yeah. I thought so. If anything, a candidate for the Ninja clue is Mandalor. His Profile has a move from a video game, followed by a dragged out version of "Shuriken." Notice how one of the assassins (Qatol's) acts like a bad ninja-jumping from chair to chair, leaping on things and using a knife object, as well as having other weapons. The arrows match his poor jumping, and one of the weapons could be a shuriken (common among ninjas). The ninja clue could also be chaoser. Chaoser is being awfully quiet. And... Show nested quote +(12:22:39 AM) krimson: SON (12:22:44 AM) krimson: IM the ninja trainer (12:22:46 AM) krimson: i train ninjas (12:22:47 AM) ostrich: wtf (12:22:52 AM) ostrich: you're a pokemon trainer (12:22:57 AM) krimson: POKEMON ARE NINJAS
In addition, chaoser posted not long after I had accused him, and proceeded to ignore my accusations like everybody else. I know chaoser is actually a pretty strong player, and by not drawing attention to himself if he was mafia, he could effectively bury my information like it apparently was.
Making big post summarizing my thoughts

I dunno Caller, you call it the "ninja clue" but I think the ninja thing is a bit of a stretch. It's like you make this jump to the ninja thing and then find a bunch of ninja related things.

shoryuken = rising dragon punch not shuriken Ryu is not a ninja last I checked.

The guy is described as being dressed in black, armed to the teeth, and is agile enough to jump from seat to seat.
Sounds like a ninja to me.
And meh, I guess it isn't Mandalor. However, the clue still points quite strongly at Chaoser, whom has also been unusually "inactive."
