To try out Heroes of the Storm when I return...anyone play it? I have been reading the forums and beginner guides here on tl, it seems quite different from most other mobas, is the learning curve really that much worse than dota? Dota is fun now, but learning to play properly was a royal pain in the arse.
I'll probably pass if it is.

You'll do fine in Heroes if you can play Dota/League. Game is "simpler" and definitely easier to learn (no items etc).
Doesn't make it worse though, it's way more fast paced than other moba's and not that snowbally, which i personally like. Also there are some unique heroes that oteh moba's lack (in that sense that playing them is REALLY different than playing any other hero).
I play.
VE plays at least aswell.
rsoultin has it, has played with us some times.
I think Holyflare plays.
not sure about others.

I thought you don't usually play it, i know VE does, we are jsut never online at the same time with him. 
and HF usually does have a full party so i have only played with him for like twice or smth.

Why do they work on some threads and in some they don't?

I can play HotS but I'm kind of "eh" on it. Still more of a fighting game/Hearthstone guy.

Used to be big into SF but I've slowed down since the game has aged so much and it's hard to compete with people who have been playing for longer.
I've tried MVC but I'm literally horrid at it and it's way too late for me to get good lol. Doubtful that there will be more of those. Meh.
Haven't tried much else, but mostly stuck to mainstream console stuff.
