Because it's fun. Also the average game for me at least is usually between 30-40 min.

Anything over an hour is not the norm. Mine are lately averaging 40-45 whether solo or partied, but I've had several under 30 too. The ones that take longer for me at least do because teams have issues pushing high ground or for whatever reason miss opportunities to do so.

Seriously though, whoever played with him in the last week and otherwise convinced him that dota is the way to go, I owe you big time. (I'm thinking Holyflare is most likely here???)
