I can say with some certainty that there is no way I would have allowed Onegu to go unscrutinized the way he did if it weren't for the actions of DrH and then we were killed. (After the Oats flip people should have really looked at him pretty hard anyway.) I am in no way saying that it is entirely the hosts fault that town lost, town was pretty goddamn derpy especially after the extra cop claims but I really do think the fairness of this game can be called into question multiple reasons.

As you can see, since I was in fact an alignment cop, I should have come back town to myself. Not even because the wording of my role pm says that should happen, it would be very balanced for a detective to sacrifice one check to have some sort of clue what his sanity was. The fact that Bluelightz and Phagga decided N1 that I was a rolecop and N2 that I was an alignment cop really screwed me over and was a vital part in the reasoning I got lynched (besides the fact that Vivax is a complete asshole). I'm definitely not playing another game hosted by Bluelightz again, and I wouldn't have replaced in knowing I was dealing with bastard hosts. I don't know how you could interpret this as role cop. Also, you got back "Detective", which is generally an alignement cop, not a role cop. If you were unsure on what role you had, why did you not ask? Phagga. Stop dodging the question. My N1 check came back as a role, and my N2 check came back as an alignment. Now unless Detective was some sort of 3p, I should've either been a role cop or my check on myself should've come back town. Now stop dodging the question and give me an explanation of why one of my checks came back as a role and the other an alignment. I already answered that question in the PM you quoted. You can't get your sanity by checking yourself, that does not really make any sense. Then why did you allow it? I asked for it.
I'll have to let Bluelightz answer that one, since he made the setup.

To try and play devil's advocate a little here, I have never heard of anyone DT checking themselves in a game.
I assume that Bluelightz had no desire to let you break his game in that way, but the way it was dealt with by returning the role instead of an alignment really fucked things up.

The fact that one of our players was completely not present for the first day of voting (and some questionable afks and then returns) really fucked things up.

This game was a combination of bad setup, good mafia play, and bastard hosts. 2/3 things could've been controlled.

There was no way in fuck town deserved to win this game. Aside from the TAA rolecheck by Geript, we basically did nothing right. I'm not going to blame "basterd hosts" for my own mistakes. Had I/we played better, we would have won.
Yes, bluelightz/phagga were a little ambiguous on the role pms. Yes, bluelightz/phagga made a scum favored setup. Yes, bluelightz/phagga made a questionable decision by leading on cDg with his check on himself by giving him his role.
That doesn't invalidate that fact that we, collectively, as town were unable to even lynch someone on Day 1. That is truly disgraceful. We didn't deserve to win and Onegu and JJD should be credited for their play.

I agree that town played like shit and most likely did not deserve to win, but that doesn't change the fact that there many things that set us at huge disadvantages from the start.
I don't complain about balance and stuff like this particularly often and am more than content to accept this loss along with my many others, but there are occurrences in this game that flat-out should not have happened and they need to be addressed in my opinion.

I'm going to try and remain impartial as I write this, but here are my list of grievances to the hosts so they can, hopefully, improve their hosting. Take it as constructive criticism.
1) Setup was improperly balanced.
You can't give scum 2 power roles, one being a mafia-vig, and not give town some sort of power role with guaranteed scumhunting power. There should have been a DT that at least knew he was sane. That way, we could evaluate the others based on his checks. We need some sort of grounding. We can never be sure that someone's checks are correct, the roles are worthless.
As far as I'm concerned, town had no power roles.
2) Replacements
You can't replace DrH in that kind of situation. It gives scum an unfair advantage. We can't hold DrH accountable for his actions not voting for TanGeng and thus cannot effectively play the game. He should have been modkilled.
3) Giving an alignment cop a role check when he checks himself
You can't lead him on and imply that his check on himself would have value. That's simply unfair. If he's going to check himself, you should at least have the decency to tell him that it'll be worthless. If you can't do that, please, for the love of god, don't give him a role instead of an alignment. It's just common courtesy.
