yeah geript wasn't really "mod-confirmed" town, he just sorta was speculated into it. and he did a very good job of being kinda unhelpful so it would make sense that he wasn't shot (to a point)

I thought it was the fact they had a Hydra QT in the first place (if they were scum they could post in scum qt right away, no need for hydra qt).
That would have been seemingly "mod-confirming" them as town if BH hadn't said anything about it.

I think if I could go back and do this again, knowing what I know now, i'd have modkilled geript. Then again, maybe not. I guess if I could really go back I'd modkill both heads at once. That'll be my new policy from now on: one slot, one fate

Having a scum hydra is already a great advantage. It increases the amount of forgivable bullshit it can produce cause they can blame it on disagreement, it also looks twice as active.
Should have modkilled, but I can't deny that a modconfirmed guy staying alive until lylo should raise red flags.

Thanks for the compliments guys, this was my first game back in a whiiiiiiiile (won't be that long for the next one though).
On the whole modkill thing, I support Marv getting that 2 game ban for his post ban post.

Ok so here's my perspective of what happened, much of it happened when I was gone; i think i was asleep or a combination of at work, then sleep then clinicals. First, BH asked nicely for us to move to the QT he created instead of the one I created. Marv semi-politely, semi-assholely declined. BH came in in a bad mood from something else and changed the rules to require us to use his QT. Marv and BH got deep into it with each other. BH gave Marv an ultimatum which he ignored. BH removed Marv and Marv made the last post.
While I think there should be a ban for the post, I honestly don't think there was any real information which Marv posted which wasn't already in the removal post by BH. Nothing made me mod-confirmed town. Town assumed that. Plus it forced me to be exceptionally intentionally bad/useless to explain me living which skirts the line of being lynched myself. The format and lineup exceptionally favored town. This was towns game to lose and town imploded. Much of my play was mediocre at best. I recognized the strategy that I had to play to and when I had to alter it due to playing otherwise putting us in a worse position. I'm a great strategist but a bad player. I don't think there's much more to be said.

everyone else was VTs. I gave town two cops instead of one, and a third cop to throw things off a bit. I skimped on the protective roles and gave scum lots of ways of dealing with cop checks in order to balance having 2 cops, and gave scum a vigi. Town had 2 masons as well as a jk, but instead of masons-confirmed-to-each-other, it was masoners, which are always fun. I considered adding in one more named VT but worried that too many blues make claims too useful. 3p was originall an SK, changed to SP
I think our original setup idea was:
22 players
15 town: 9 Vt 1 Masoner 1 vigi 1 joat 1 JK 1 parity cop 1 naive cop
5 scum: goon masoner vigi joat rb - always 1 KP
2 3p: sk, survivor

Man this game. I tried to modkill myself but BH didn't let me, hence the two day break to calm down a little. Was getting so frustrated midgame.
Um let's see. Gigs, fucking WP buddy, people not finding you was all you man.
Geript, not that you didn't play well (you did what you needed to to survive) but I blame myself for believing the rest of town and their modconfirmed shit without REALLY looking myself. I knew you looked scummy but much like other people I took too much stock in things other people say and don't have enough faith in myself. As Palmar said some of my reads were shit this game but at least some of them were on...I don't understand how I came off the towniest in the thread and seem to so very often...

I dunno... only protection role being the one that has to roleblock the third party, two atleast semi broken cops, and 2 masoners that ere likely to get each other kill on the belief one must be umbridge.
