That took at least 30 minutes, we were sitting in irc and they laughed about me and the fact that I can't tell what roles acro had

But there's obviously no way to figure something like THAT out. You guys should have dealt with drazerk earlier imo or just doublelynched him when he wasn't empress.

Faction = 1 Hamburger Faction = 2 Frankfurter and I was like "yeah fine, two german cities, what's going to be next?" and caller told me the third faction would be "Schnitzel" which just confused me A LOT. I was sitting in irc asking why schnitzel and why he picked two legit towns and out of nowhere makes the third faction some bullshit like that. Didn't realize Hamburger and Frankfurter is something to eat as well because Hamburger is the legit german term for someone living in hamburg (Hamburg -> Hamburger / Frankfurt -> Frankfurter / Berlin -> Berliner / Düssdeldorf -> Düsseldorfer). I don't really think of food when I see the terms Hamburger and Frankfurter (out of context) because of that I guess lol.

But acro, one last thing - you're right, your scum hunting was quite good. (almost as good as mine :p lol). My problem isn't with that, it's with your behavior as town leader. I was pretty convinced that you were scum as of night 2, but Forumite convinced me that killing the town leader should be done by a collective town decision so I shot mattchew instead. I still think the kill on atlas was a bad decision; even if he really was SK, town could control his kp. I knew he was probably town since I had the same role, but I couldn't say anything about it because I would have had to out myself - and also because I wasn't around before the lynch that day, that's my bad. But the assumption that you could pass on an alignment ability if he was SK didn't make sense, and it really looked like you just wanted to redistribute his power to someone else. Then there was your vote claiming plan. I still don't know what that was supposed to do for town; the knowledge that some people's votes don't matter can only hurt behavioral analysis scumhunting, so an experiment to prove that doesn't help town. Plus you forced anyone with a blue role who had managed to keep that secret to publicly announce that they had a blue role. This may only have applied to me, but it's still not a good move for town. The potential to catch scum lying about their votes was really low, since there were too many people still alive to pin down who lied about their votes. I was pretty much convinced that I was going to get killed that night and that the vote claim scheme was blue fishing, and I'm still kind of surprised I didn't. I don't know why blue team decided to shoot mattchew or jitsu, that still makes no sense unless they thought mattchew was town, and even then why not kill someone like you or Carolus or Hassy or zelblade. When I lived and when we found out that mattchew was the archbishop target, it changed my mind and convinced me you were probably town. However, the next night you shot me. There was really no reason to do that instead of archbishop or chancellor checking me if you thought I was probably town; either way, if I come up scum I don't get to shoot again and Forumite gets my shot the next night. After that you trolled a sure win in a game that was pretty imbalanced in towns favor into an "all factions lose" situation. Trolling is fine in a caller game, but you were the only townie left so you were playing against wincon for all of town. I don't really care that much about that though at this point, it was a caller game after all. Once again, I do agree that you / your team did a really good job at the actual scumhunting, but that's not the only thing that matters when you're the town leader like in this game.

You let a scum get into your confidence and stay there, ignoring anyone who were suspicious of Drazerk, and you somehow lost the game by a combination of listening to scum, trolling and wasting a night. We could have turned this around if you had taken the game seriously at the end, but you didn´t. Town lost this game because of you, and it´s nothing to be proud of. This. THIS. THIS!!!!!!

No, was not a breadcrumb. Lol. I actually believe mafia might have role checks. Reread my crazy role pm dude, it mentions portal guns, and I was EXPLICITY told I protect against day vigi's....So I was expecting a bus driver and some other shit too.

Lol, Drazerk was laughing at me telling me his scumhunting was better than mine because he had figured out Layabout and QS7 before me, the evil scummy bastard. Other than that, I can explain it all: the reason we didn't check you, and shot you instead is because I was surer of Forumite being town than of you being town. We didn't have enough alignment checks to put one on you and I didn't want to bother with a possible-scum assassin. In the end it may have been the wrong call and I should have killed The_Bard or Potato at that point (I was quite sure one of the two was scum, but not which one of the two), but both Hassy and Carolus agreed with the possibity that you were scum (mostly because of setup speculation) and leaving someone we weren't sure of with assassin powers was not something I wanted to do. I am not sure how much influence Drazerk had in that decision. Zelblade was checking Carolus, who I was fairly confident was town, but there were way too many coincidences in the connections he had with the blue team for me not to be suspicious of him. That left Drazerk's archbishop check. I wanted to use it to confirm Forumite as town seeing as he was my heir and the new assassin. Drazerk convinced me to use it for scumhunting instead (and bussed his scumbuddy Layabout with it). So yeah, I'm sorry we shot you, it was more pragmatism than scummyness. The rest, I disagree with. I had no knowledge of assassins at the point when ATLAS roleclaimed and he first claimed Serial Killer, then backpedaled into something more believable: which was his actual role. It was a terrible roleclaim and while you might argue an actual Serial Killer wouldn't claim "town aligned serial killer", someone whose rolename says "assassin" shouldn't either. He should just've claimed vigi and I would have imperial lynched someone else (Jitsu was my other option, if I recall correctly). It would have let town direct his kill, as you (or Forumite, or both of you) suggested. Obviously you thought that kill was terrible, because you DID have that knowledge, but I still stand by shooting people who claim any kind of "serial killer" in the face before they shoot back. The vote claiming plan was just that: to test the damned mechanics. As Toad said, Maju almost didn't get lynched, because despite having a giant majority of people on him, he didn't have many votes on him. When I realized that, that shit needed testing. I didn't ask for roleclaims, I asked for vote claims. Additionally, I knew full well that roles went to husbands or got redistributed by me (and I was town), so roles were never really lost. Scum was still in the dark as to who was a knight, who was a spymaster etc. so simply shooting blue roles for the sake of it wasn't going to get them anywhere (especially as I could redistribute them). I'm still not quite sure the blue team was doing with the emperor votes, though. Finally, why didn't either scumteam really want empress? Your QT says nothing about it. Was pardoning too public a role for you to want?
