Role List and Actions

Ver , flamewheel, and Incognito are helping me host this game. Don’t bother PMing them about anything though, as they’re pretty lazy hosts.

Universal Rules

Unless otherwise stated by the host, these rules apply to all TL Mafia Games
Cheating:
Cheating includes (but is not limited to):
1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information.
2. Ruining the game by doing something like hand out your mafia's member list to the town.
3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role.
4. Comparing role PM times to determine roles.
5. Posting screenshots of your inbox.
6. Posting any PM you receive from a host.
7. Getting yourself modkilled to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip.
8. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts.
9. Betting items outside of the game in exchange for in-game benefits.
Cheating is not tolerated here. The punishment will be severe.

Mod Font:
This is mod font. It is reserved for moderators. Please do not use it.

Question Font:
This is question font. Use it to ask the moderators questions about the rules. Please do us a favor and read the rules before you ask anything.

Smurfs:
On April 26 2011 13:22 mikeymoo wrote:
Smurfs must PM the host because TL doesn't allow multiple accounts otherwise. If the host is unaware of smurfs, you (and/or your smurf) can be banned for having multiple accounts.

Editing:
Editing is not allowed for any reason. Editing will result in a warning. After that, you will be modkilled. This is the one part of the site where it is okay to be double posting, even triple-posting. While I ask for everybody to post as concisely as possible, post again if you have to edit anything.

Inappropriate posts:
If you want to post something insulting or inappropriate and know the TL mods would have a problem with it elsewhere, don't post it here. If you do, a host will warn you or modkill you and request that you be banned from future games. The hosts have the final say on what is inappropriate. If you do not like how someone is talking to you, please PM a host or Flamewheel before involving the TL staff. If you are unsatisfied with how the situation is resolved, then you can appeal to the TL staff normally.

Reporting posts:
The report button is a nice feature for regular TL, but not for this forum. We prefer to deal with things in house if possible to avoid confusion among the TL staff. If you have a problem with how someone is posting, talk to the host, co-host, or Flamewheel before using your report button. Please do not use your report button for anything other than inappropriate posts which you feel are not being dealt with adequately.

Modkills:
If you break any of the above rules, you will be modkilled and will be banned according to the TL Mafia Ban List. Please refer to it for questions about your punishment.

Ban discussions:
Please wait until this game is over to talk about modkills and bans resulting from this game.

Play to win.
This means you play your best to help your team win while you are alive and in the game. However, this does not mean that you should try to win by being a jerk to the other players so they all want to quit playing.

This also means that you cannot leave the game without a good reason without a ban. These situations will be dealt with on a case by case basis. PM your host if you need to leave the game.

You have been warned.

General Setup Rules

Host-Specific Rules

Activity:
You must post in this thread at least once per every 24 hours and vote every day while you are alive. If you fail to do so you will be modkilled. If you are obviously trying to skirt the modkill requirement, you will be modkilled.

If you have to miss a 24 hour or more period, please inform me ahead of time and there won't be a problem. If you are really active but happen to miss a vote, no big deal.

Account Sharing:
On the off chance that anyone wants to account share, please let me know and it will be allowed. Any account sharing will be made public knowledge.

Spam:
Spam is not tolerated, nor is any off-topic material. I will be extremely strict on any spammers. If you have a problem with anyone's excessive posting, please pm me and they will be warned. Second infraction gets a modkill. Let's keep this thread readable.

Game-Specific Rules

Introduction:

There are two problems with dual mafia games or games with Serial Killers. First is the kingmaker scenario, where one party clearly cannot win, but has the power to influence the outcome of the game. Second is the very likely possibility that there will come a point in the game where two factions are so behind that they forced out of necessity to gang up on a third more powerful faction. This punishes good play, provides a safety net for bad play and makes for a somewhat deterministic and inflexible power dynamic.

In order to avoid these scenarios, this game will feature…four factions! There will be 3 mafia factions and a town faction. The addition of a fourth faction allows for a more fluid power dynamic by opening more options to each faction. Factions now have options when deciding who to ally with against a stronger faction, and it is unlikely that a single optimal solution can be found. Smaller, less powerful factions in relation to the entire game population makes large alliances very unstable and promotes plotting and distrust.

PMs are included in order to facilitate your scheming and allow you to show off your strategic and political brilliance. Use them wisely!

Factions:

Commoners (Anarchists)

You are a lowly peasant. You really hate the petty squabbles of the upper classes, and your only desire is to live your life in peace. Thus, you have joined the local anarchist movement and wish to exterminate the nobility. Unfortunately, as you are only a farmer, you probably only have a few farm tools at your disposal. Fortunately, due to a generous donation by a mysterious benefactor, you have a chance to pick up some useful skills to aid you in pursuing your goals. Unfortunately, you do not know the identities of any of the other members of the anarchist rebellion, and have to seek them out yourself. Use teamwork, analysis, and your vote to hunt down and lynch those self-righteous monarchists. You win when all noble houses have been eliminated.

House of Lancaster

Your house is a branch of the royal House Plantagenet descended from John of Gaunt. You wish to consolidate your power and solidify your position on the throne. Unfortunately, you have some opposition, including a couple other noble houses. Rumors have it that a rag-tag band of anarchists also seek to oppose your rule. You can coordinate your draft picks. Being as you are a powerful House with many resources and connections, you have the ability as a group to secretly assassinate 1 player per night. You win when you outnumber the Commoners AND all other houses are eliminated.

House of York

Your house is a branch of the royal House Plantagenet descended from Edmund of Langley. You fear that the Lancastrian ambitions are sinister and wish to take the throne for yourselves. Unfortunately, you will have to face some opposition in order to oust the Lancastrians and assert your rule. You can coordinate your draft picks. Being as you are a powerful House with many resources and connections, you have the ability as a group to secretly assassinate 1 player per night. You win when you outnumber the Commoners AND all other houses are eliminated.

House of Tudor

Your house is descended from an illegitimate son of John of Gaunt of the House of Lancaster. Though you have traditionally supported the House of Lancaster in the past, you harbor secret ambitions to overthrow them when the time is right. Fortunately, the Lancastrians and the Yorkists are weakening themselves by fighting each other in open battle. For better or worse, a third faction of anarchists seek to oppose both you and the other two houses. You can coordinate your draft picks. Being as you are a powerful House with many resources and connections, you have the ability as a group to secretly assassinate 1 player per night. You win when you outnumber the Commoners AND all other houses are eliminated.

Elections:

Following the Draft and Role picking stages, an election will be held for the positions of mayor and pardoner. Please refrain from announcing your bid for office until roles have been handed out.

Mayor
You are the winner of the election. Every candidate running for election must PM me before the end of Day 1 with the name of the player that he/she would like lynched on Day 1 if he/she wins. You can't choose the Pardoner as the Day 1 lynch victim. Your votes count as two votes instead of one. In addition, you possess a list with the names of all the bodyguards.

Pardoner
You are the secondary elected role of the game; the runner up in the election. You may pardon a person who is to be lynched twice per game. You may use this ability on the mayor's first lynch. If you use this ability during a double lynch, each pardon spares one player (so you must use both pardons to completely stop a double lynch). You may not pardon yourself.

Bodyguard
You are the protector of the elected roles. As long as you remain alive, the elected officials (Mayor and Pardoner) will be immune to all forms of death except lynch. Only the Mayor knows the Bodyguards identities. But be warned. Each noble house has the option, by the time of the Mayor election, to substitute one of their members for Bodyguards. Substituted bodyguards do not protect the Mayor/Pardoner unless the Mayor/Pardoner is of the same house as the substituted bodyguard. The remaining Bodyguards are randomly selected from commoners who didn’t get a role after the election. If the number of available bodyguard spots exceeds the number of role-less commoners, the remaining bodyguards will be selected from the remaining pool of commoners. Bodyguards will show up as such to Role Checks.

Draft System

This is a Pick Your Power game. The draft rules are the same as from Pick Your Power Insane, and are copied here to reference for your convenience. (The only change is that you pick a number from 1-20 instead of 1-24).
+ Show Spoiler [Draft Rules] +
Draft System

Each faction will know each other’s identities before the game starts. When sign ups are finished we will have the draft phase. The order of the draft will be revealed a bit later. However there will be a pool of roles. The pool of roles will be picked secretly by draft order via PM. Once that role is gone, if anyone else tries to pick it later they will be notified it is gone and will end up stuck with their Vanilla Role. If you've been following it is entirely possible to end up with Scum Cops, Scum Vigilantes, Town Role blockers and so on.

  • There is a list of roles available.
  • Starting with the first player in the draft you can pick roles.
  • If a role has been picked you will be notified via PM it has been picked and you will be stuck with your Vanilla role.
  • Once everyone has picked, the game will start
  • Any role can go to any side

Drafting Phase:

The draft order works like this. Every player will pick 2 numbers between 1-20 and PM me. Once I have everyone's selections I will reveal the draft order.

The first number closest to 1 that is picked will be first in the draft order. Of course that would be too easy so if several players pick the same # they ALL will be reset to last in the draft order. Then I would move on to the next lowest number (in this case 2) and the same rules apply. If no other player has picked the # 2 while someone else has, they will become first in the draft order. And so on until I get to #20.

Now the second # picked is used to determine who goes first in the event of players picking the same number. The lowest # of the second # goes first and so on. In the event players picked the same 2 numbers I will once again reset them to the back of the queue(for the order they are in).

Player A - [4][19]
Player B - [1][12]
Player C - [1][6]
Player D - [7][8]
Player E - [3][4]
Player F - [7][8]
Player G - [7][20]

Players B and C both picked 1. They go to the back of the queue. Player E is the next lowest # and the only one that picked 3. He/She goes first. Then player A since He/She is the only one to pick 4. Then Player D would have been next with 7 ahead of B and C, but Player's F and G also picked 7 so they both go behind Players B and C.

Current Order: Bolded players are locked into position.

Player E
Player A

Player B
Player C
Player D
Player F
Player G

Now I just resolve Players B, C, D,F and G. Between B and C, I look at the second #. B has a 12, C has a 6. So C gets to pick before B.

Current Order: Bolded players are locked into position.

Player E
Player A
Player C
Player B

Player D
Player F

Now between D,F and G they all picked the same 1st numbers [7][?]. So I look at the second number to determine their order. Player G has a different number [7][20] whereas D and F both have [7][8]. Same rule as before and G gets to pick before D and F.

Player E
Player A
Player C
Player B
Player G

Player D
Player F

In the case of D and F I roll a dice to determine who goes first since they have the same 2 numbers. For arguments sake lets say F got a 1 and D got a 3 on a dice roll. F goes before D.

Player E
Player A
Player C
Player B
Player G
Player F
Player D

*note: There is a new rule in place. In the event that your first AND second numbers clash with another player you both go straight to the bottom of the order. So if 3 players picked [4][1], [4][1] and [4][7] the 2 players with [4][1] are bumped below the player that picked [4][7] along with the original bump. All in All the most unique number combination gets priority.

Simple right? Of course this is all done to support epic mind traps between Scum and Town for picking #s. Remember once this phase is done you will know the draft order publicly. You just wont know who picked what and what roles got picked ^_^.

If you have not read all the rules, go back and do so. I will not compensate for ignorance!
And so, we find the Sublime.

Investigative Roles

Detective -
You have the ability to make night investigations. Once per night phase, you may PM me to ask for the role and alignment of one player. Alignment returns guilty or innocent, and does not reveal family.

Watcher -
You are the god damn Batman! At night you can choose to watch a player and receive information in the form of how many people visited that person. You must write a short and colorful story whenever you publish your results.

Tracker -
Follow someone and find out who they visited that night. Follows their role if they have a role, if they are vanilla follows their actual ability. I,E vanilla mafia is tracked to kill, but politician mafia is shown to have taken no action.

Role Cop -
Pretty sweet. You can get people's roles!

Parity Cop -
You are an Alignment Cop with the ability to compare Investigations. Instead of receiving "Innocent" or "Guilty" your targets will be compared for Alignment. On Night 1 you will receive no result. Every night after, the new person you investigate will be compared with the person you investigated the prior night. If they are all of the same alignment you will receive "Same" otherwise you will receive "Different". All mafia are considered same, even if they are from different families.

Bullet Bill -
You love bullets and the smell of gunpowder. At night you can target a player and find out if they are carrying a gun.

NKVD Agent –
You are proud member of People’s Commissariat of the Interior! You search for corrupt mafia once per night by contacting NKVD HQ for an alignment (no role) check on a suspicious individual. If you successfully check a mafia, you will also reveal their family. You also can disguise your role as NKVD agent to detective actions, and may change role or keep the same!

Defensive Roles

Medic -
You have the ability to watch one other player during night, which you must tell me about before the end of night (preferably before night even starts). You may choose not to use this ability also. When a player is watched he cannot die unless the number of people attacking him outnumbers the number of people watching him or his night lives. In other words if two mafia attack a person being watched by one paramedic, the person will die. The town won't know who was saved, but I will let the Paramedic and the person saved know if they were targeted and saved.

Doctor -
You have the power to save lives. At night if you protect someone they will be able to survive being shot once. All those hours of studying in Med School might have left you slightly screwed up though. No way to protect yourself either. You may be a Normal, Paranoid, or Weak variant. If you are weak, you will be informed. Paranoid doctors will believe they are normal.

Paranoid Doctor - Protects the target and also roleblocks them
Weak Doctor - This doctor dies if protecting a player not from their alignment

Witch -
Like all awesome Witches you are a master of magic. If you choose to, one time only you can choose to receive a list of every player that will die that night. You can give one of them a life-saving potion that will prevent them from dying. You can only do this once. You cannot save yourself if you happen to be targeted that night.

Martyr -
During the night you can choose to protect a player. If they are killed at night or lynched during the day you will instead die in their place. Once you pick a person to Martyr for you can not change until the next night cycle.

Veteran -
As you are experienced you have the ability to survive 1 hit at night. You can also survive 1 lynch.

Bulletproof -
You are immune to night kills. However if you get roleblocked it breaks your power for that night.

Rock Star -
You have two bodyguards to protect you from angry fans and mafia because you’re just that rich. You know them and they know you! Rock Star bodyguards are taken from vanilla players who did not select or obtain a role and may be any alignment. Bodyguards do not know each other. Bodyguards will protect the Rock Star no matter what alignment they are or he is. The bodyguards protect the Rock Star from both day and night kills but not lynches (including the king's), zombie hits, or nukes.

Jailkeeper -
You have the ability to lock someone in jail, roleblocking them but preventing all night actions on a player of your choice during the night. This includes DT checks, bombs, and night hits. You may not protect yourself. No one will be notified of any results. Jailkeeper can protect someone the night she/he gets killed.

Hider -
You are scared of being shot so you hide behind other players at night. If as a townie you hide behind a mafia you automatically die and any vigilante hit on you is refunded. If you do not hide behind a mafia and you are hit you live. You can still be bombed or admiral ackbar'd, and you cannot hide behind the same person twice. If you are a mafia hider, you live so long as you hide behind someone who isn't getting shot. Even if the target is medic protected or a veteran, if they are shot at and live you still die.

Hero -
Alas, you are the hero of the land! You are so awesome that if you get lynched, you survive and can pick someone from your voting list to lynch instead. You can only survive two lynches.

Meth Man -
You are a serious drug dealer with a serious chem lab. If anyone disturbs you cooking that stuff at night it will destroy the entire lab! If you are killed at any time besides through a lynch or nuke you go down with EVERYONE that targeted you that full cycle. So if you are DT checked night 2, and day vigi'd day 3, both the day vigi and dt die.

NRA Member -
You shoot anyone and anything that pokes its head out at you. The first person that tries to visit you each day and night gets killed at the end of the cycle and their action on you does not occur. Listchecks do not count, but everything else does. The suicide bomber overrides your redneck defense.

KP Roles

Mad Hatter -
You may lay bombs on one player per night (maximum 2). If you are killed you will throw the switch and detonate them, killing the players (if they aren't protected by extra night lives, paramedics, or bodyguards). You may remove them from players at any time during the night to get them back, but if a player is lynched with one on them you lose that bomb for good. Bombs are refunded if the target is killed during the night. When you PM me your target choices you must tell me how your role is stupid and explain how you plan to win the game with brainless carpet bombing. Bonus points if you get a quote from Ace on the matter. Bonus points can be used for a special death scene of your choice!

Vigilante -
You have the ability to kill up to two people of your choice at any night phase in the game. You cannot use both at once and may wait to use them whenever you feel like. If your hits ever overlap with a mafia hit I will cancel it and notify you the following day and you will be able to use it again. If your hit overlaps with another Vigilante I will cancel all other hits but the first one and will notify anyone who's hit didn't go through the following day and you will be able to use it again. You will not be told if it was mafia or murderer that caused your hit to be canceled.

Day Vigilante -
During the day you may type ##Kill: Player in the thread. That player is going to die and the day goes on. You can only shoot once.

America -
Congratulations, you have bribed your way to becoming President of America! You have unlimited nukes at your disposal, however, they can only be used during the day phase and you can only use one nuke per day. Also, because congress is a bunch of fat cat geezers, if the politician buys your vote and you have not already used your nuke for that cycle, he can also nuke a target of his choice and he makes it look like you did it! (however he cannot make you shoot yourself) To nuke, you must type ##Nuke: Player. You must nuke 12 hours or more before day ends. Nukes land at the end of the day. Feel free to launch your first nuke without any warning.

CPR Doctor -
BE CAREFUL WITH THAT THING! If the person you are protecting gets attacked then you save them as normal. However if they aren't attacked that night you end up shocking them (they take a hit, this can be blocked by protective roles etc.). You can not target yourself at night.

Assassin -
You are an elite assassin who lives for hunting his targets. You have a knife that you can use at any time in the game anonymously and will activate instantly. Just pm me to activate it. However, there are some conditions. When you send in your hit you must do it in such a format: PLAYERNAME and RED or ROLE. If you choose to specify that the player is RED, you must also specify what family they belong to, else the shot fails. For example, Ver RED or Ver Modern Detective. The outcome of your assignment depends on whether you get the target right. For example, if you order Ver RED, and Ver is mafia, your hit succeeds. On the other hand, if his blood is green, you fail the assignment. Should you succeed in your hit, you are refunded your kill to use again in the following cycle or later and nobody is the wiser. Should you fail, your target lives but you and your actions will be publically outted, your intended target outted, and you will permanently lose your powers. Tread carefully Messer Ezio.

Bomber Man -
At Night you may PM me a player to prime with explosives. You must also give me a codeword to set off the explosives. If any of the player(s) you have primed use the codeword you've given me after the bomb has been laid (for example, if you put a bomb on Ver night 1, he cannot activate the bomb by saying the codeword until day 2) they will detonate all your explosives currently laid. Your codeword can't be something extremely simple so be careful on what you pick. The codeword is not activated via quoting. The target must say it voluntarily. Once your explosives go off, you may no longer place any more explosives and lose all your powers.

King Maker -
You are the Kingmaker, the power behind the throne. Every night you must send me a Private Message with a list of names to be made king. The highest person on the list not to be killed will be made king. The King will not be informed of who you are. You also can not choose any player you already made King unless you cannot fulfill your role otherwise (i,e only a few people are left whom you've all made king). You can't nominate yourself to be King either under any circumstances. The King is essentially a day vigilante who must type ##Lynch: Player at some point during the day to kill someone. If the king's vote is bought by the politician, the politician also controls the king's lynch. Power behind the throne, neh?

Admiral Ackbar -
Can suicide and kill someone and all medics protecting them and everyone who has made an action on them on the latest half cycle. You may use your ability day or night!

Bad Santa -
At the start of the game you may send me a list of 5 players' names. If any of those player's are the cause of death for each other by Night kill, lynch, or any other means then you can pick any of the remaining names and kill one of them the next night.

Vote Altering Roles

The Goldman Sachs-
You are a partner at The Goldman Sachs, which gives you pretty much unlimited political power. Most notably, you have the ability to buy votes. Simply PM me during the day to buy a player's vote. You will have the ability to control where that player's vote is placed, and they will of course lose control of their vote. Their vote will show up as voting where ever you want it to be via PM to me. If you happen to buy America's voteThe United States Government, you can manipulate congress to authorize a nuke on a player of your choice if they have not already targetted someone, and it will appear as them doing it. Also, if you buy the King's vote, you will have his lynch as well. If you happen to buy the King or America you will be informed if you can use their power.

Floridian -
Being from Florida you get a secret extra vote in lynches. If you want to vote again during a lynch just PM me. It will show up as Anonymous on the voting list. You can change the vote as many times as you like until the deadline.

Vote Rigger -
You are a vote rigger! You have two oneshot powers. The first is you can, once only, force a double lynch at any time during the voting (the two leading candidates at the end of the day are lynched). The second is that you may rig the votes as you see fit. Surprise! You may only use one power per day.

Multi-purpose Roles

Capitalist -
You are corrupt criminal that is poisoning our country! You may do research on one person a night, da, to determine their role (not alignment), or you may kill one person a night. You have 1 kill and 3 role-only checks.

Jack -
Of all trades, master of none. You may use up to six abilities from other roles in the game however you are restricted to the very same rules that apply to them when you use them. You may not use the same role in two consecutive day/night cycles in a row. The following roles you may use are: Vigilante, Day Vigilante, Detective, Medic, and Bulletproof. You may not use two in one cycle (ie: Detective during day, Medic during night). If you use the veteran one night and take a hit, you cannot use it again and absorb another hit. It is a one time only deal.

Inventor -
At night you can invent anything you feel like. Give someone a gun with 1 bullet, give someone more bullets, a med-kit, a detective kit, a telephone or whatever else you can think of. PM me what you want to invent and what player you want to give it to. Of course if you're invention is totally game breaking I won't allow it and you have to invent something else. Be creative ^_^. You can't give yourself anything, and you must tell me how your invention works so I can PM the other player (you cannot trick them to how the invention works). In the Day post there will be a message letting everyone know what was invented, but not who it was given to. You can only invent the same thing (or something very similar) once, and each invention can only be used once by the target. Lastly, you can only give one invention to each player until the remaining alive players have all received an invention.

Miscellaneous Roles
Puppeteer -
Gets a smurf. The player is able to use two accounts, his main account and his smurf accounts. The smurf account will be publically known to all, however, the smurf cannot die or be targeted by any action. Basically he will be two people. If the Puppeteer dies, his smurf will die. In addition, his smurf's vote will not count for voting purposes.

Role Swapper –
You have the ability to swap roles with any target. This effectively gives you all your target’s powers, while giving them the role swapping power. (They are free to use it the next night.) The role swap occurs after all night actions are resolved, and you inherit their role with the amount of uses they have left.

Copy Cat -
You start off with no powers. However once the first power role dies you get an exact copy of their role. If the first lynch(s) end up vanilla, you will get the role of the first person to die during the night (based on when the killers sent in their pm's).

Thief -
You have the ability to steal the role of a specific player one time per game at night, meaning they lose their role and become vanilla, while you gain it. If you steal from a vanilla player, nothing happens to them and you gain nothing. You cannot steal the role of a traitor or mole. Neither you nor they may not use their role the cycle you steal from them. The following cycle after you steal you can use their role freely with the same limits taken from them. For example if the vote rigger already used his double lynch before you stole it, you will not be able to use it.

Cupid -
You are the master of love and can sink your arrow through two players to bind their fates together. If one dies, the other dies. If one lover is protected but the other is shot, they both still die. The lovers are told who their lover is but not who cupid is and do not know the other's alignment. You can bind yourself with another player if you choose. Cupid must PM me who he wants to make lovers by the time elections are over. Cupid can only link lovers once.

Extractor -
Once per day you may force someone to roleclaim in the thread. You can activate this by PMing me, and I will PM the target player. The target cannot lie, but must not reveal that he is being forced to roleclaim in any way, or he will be modkilled.

Traditional Mafia Roles

Godfather -
You are the Godfather of the Mafia. You lead the Mafia by example and have a number of abilities which assist your minions in bringing Liquiville to it's knees. You have the ability to cover a player, changing their role and alignment to anything you want. You can choose to appear as a role of your choice (including vanilla townie) to any and all types of detective-esque actions. You are immune to votechecks.

Framer -
You have the power to change how one's alignment and role appears to any detective type actions performed on them that night. You may use it on one person per night and may not use it on yourself. In addition, you may also choose to have your framed target visit anyone you choose. Any actions they perform will also be misdirected. Your target will also show up to watcher and tracker reports.

Roleblocker -
You have the power to prevent anyone from using their role during the night phase. You may only use your ability once per night phase, and you cannot roleblock the same player twice in a row.

Bone Breaker -
A Mafia specialist adept at intimidation and "surgical procedures". You have the ability to role block any player in the game during the day phase. Only 1 player per Day cycle. You also can not role block the same player 2 days in a row.

Janitor -
Busy always cleaning up after other people's mess. You love your job so much though that you'll even clean up dead bodies. During the Night you may PM me that you want to clean up all the dead bodies in Town. No player's role or alignment will be revealed upon death for that upcoming Day. Since you are cleaning up the bodies however, you will learn the role and alignment of all the bodies you clean up. You can only use this ability once.

Agent of Chaos -
A devious henchmen with the uncanny ability to sabotage the government. If the AoC is elected into office, he may choose to sacrifice himself at any point in the game and kill all elected officials and bodyguards.

Personality Mafia Roles

Ace -
You are Ace, a vigilante with two bullets. However, you can only shoot liars. In order for your kill to work, you must prove that your target lied. Be very sure when you present your case, or your power will misfire.

Because of your contempt for idiots, you may create an 'invisible list' of players who you are ignoring day 1 and update it on future days. Naturally, you do not respond to anyone on your invisible list. Feel free to consistently emphasize that you are the greatest player of all time in the thread.

Qatol -
You have extensive training as a staunch upholder of the law (banlist). However, you are often bored and like banning people for fun. Every day, you have the power to ban one player. Banning a player permanently strips them of their role. You must make a case against them in the thread and ban them by typing ##Ban: Player in the thread. But be careful about abusing your powers, as it may backfire on you! You must decide by the end of day 1 or I will randomly choose for you.

BloodyC0bbler -
You are BloodyC0bbler. You are a 2 shot vig, but there’s a catch: you can only shoot roleclaimers.

Showtime! -
You are Showtime!, the infamous vote rigging smurf-detecting ragequitter. You like playing with fire, or rather, voting machines. Once per game, you may choose to end the day early, resulting in the leading candidate being immediately lynched. You love showing off your awesomeness, and are advised to keep a publicly updated list of your best guess at everyone’s role.

Dreamflower -
You are dreamflower. You are a compulsive vigilante that only shoots mafia. You must shoot every night that you are alive. However, you must aim carefully! If you attempt to shoot a townie, you will commit seppuku out of disgrace (your target will survive). If you successfully hit a mafia, you get to shoot again the next night. If for some reason your target does not die, your hit is refunded and no suicide occurs. In addition, you are encouraged to emphasize how you are not a great player when making an analysis, and refuse to defend your analysis against rebuttals.

Warning

Please be aware of the sheer number of roles that are in the game. The reason I am running this setup like this is to give people a chance to exercise creativity and create brilliant plans in such an unrestricted setup, but there are some side effects. There is no possible way, given the number of roles, that all interactions and exceptions can be clarified ahead of time. It will have to be addressed on a case by case basis in game when you ask questions about how you can use your role. I state this now so that everyone playing the game is aware that there is the possibility that interactions might not work quite how they expect, particularly if the right questions are not asked, or might be clarified in their favor or against. I will answer all questions possible or decline when I cannot, but will not volunteer excess information. If you want the right answers you need to ask the right questions. I will try to add all questions/answers to the bottom of the OP. You have been warned.
And so, we find the Sublime.

Questions/Answers

+ Show Spoiler +
If a Mayor is a defensive role(a vet) and is shot, does his veteran status get removed, or does a bodyguard die. Likewise if a Rockstar is shot, which bodyguards die first?

Bodyguards do not die when the mayor is shot. Vet hits will not be removed if the mayor is shot. Basically, the mayor is not targetable by any KP actions while the BGs are alive.

Is this the complete list of players with guns(for Bullet Bill): Bad Santa, Vig, Day Vig, Capitalist, JOAT, Ace, BC, Dreamflower, NRA Member.

This is the complete list of players with guns(for Bullet Bill): Bad Santa, Vig, Day Vig, Capitalist, JOAT, Ace, BC, Dreamflower, NRA Member.

Can Rock Star, Vet, Martyr, Meth Man, NRA Member be roleblocked and lose their defensive power for the night?

Yes for Vet and Meth Man. No for the others.

If Mad Hatter is shot when roleblocked, do his bombs still go off? Or does it just stop the moving/placing mechanic?

The bombs still go off, but no bombs can be placed or moved.

Can an assasin target vanilla townies for a hit? eg: Ver Vanilla

Yes

Does a politician who buys a nuke or kinglynch have to actually post in the thread to activate the power?

No. The politician PMs me who he wants the king/America to lynch/nuke, and I will PM them to post the appropriate command in the thread.

JOAT say six abilities, but only lists 5.

You have a choice between 5 abilities, and you have 6 uses.

If a thief tries to steal the role of a vanilla player, does the thief lose his power or is it refunded for another try the next night?

If you try to steal from a vanilla player, you just become vanilla.

Bodyguard roles are chosen from vanilla townies. Will an agent of chaos be added to the group of vanilla townies when randomly selecting the bodyguards? Or does an AoC get priority for becoming the bodyguard.

The remaining bodyguard roles (that havent been substituted) will be chosen from vanilla townies. So basically the order goes: Mafia get the option to substitute, and if they choose not to, then a vanilla townie will be chosen to take that spot.

If an Agent of Chaos blows up, and the mayor/pardoner is a defensive role(say a vet), will the elected official die, or just take a 1 KP hit?

The Agent of Chaos role was changed, see above. But if activated, they will die regardless of role.

Does Qatol have the ability to mislead role checks but not alignment checks? This seams like a rather strange ability considering that the power has to be posted in thread(##ban: ) which means the role will out itself, leaving no need for a role check.

Qatol is not immune to role checks (meant to take that out).

If someone claims vanilla town, can BloddyC0bbler shoot him? Also, I assume that BC can only shoot at night.

BC can shoot vanilla claims and can only shoot at night.

How long will the pardoner have to use his abilities after a lynch? Can he use it on Showtime!'s and the vote riggers abilities?

The pardoner has until 15 minutes after the lynch is decided to use his abilities. Alternatively, he can also send me conditional orders to follow if he is unable to be around at the time of the lynch. The pardoner can pardon any lynch power, including Showtime, the vote rigger, and the King's lynch.

How long does a Paranoid Doc/Jailor/Roleblocker abilities last? 1 full cycle? If a Paranoid Doc or Jailkeeper protects a Hero/Assassin/Ackbar(or any other daytime role) will that player lose their special ability for the next day?

The roleblock lasts for the night only. Bone Breaker role added for day roleblocks.

If a tracker follows a vanilla mafia, will they always be tracked to the KP target? Or will only one of the 4 mafia members 'perform' the kill?

Trackers following a vanilla mafia will be led to the kill.

If cupid ties a player to the mayor, and then kills the mayors lover, does the mayor die? Likewise, does a lover dying override any defensive abilities(rockstar, BP, Vet, etc)?

If a Rockstar is shot, do his bodyguards die in his place? Or are his bodyguards the same as the mayor, in that he cannot be hit until his bodyguards are dead?

What happens if the Assassin correctly targets the mayor(when there are still bodyguards alive). Or is that simply not allowed?

The mayor's invincibility takes precedence over all other roles. However, Rock Star, BP, and Vet are all susceptible to cupid.

Rock Star BGs act the same way as Mayor BGs.

The Mayor cannot be the target of any kill actions. Assassin's can't target the mayor unless his BGs are dead.

I have a question about vote rigger. In his first ability, does he get to insta lynch the top 2 vote getters at any moment of his choosing? That seems extremelly powerful if that's actually how it works O.o

Vote Rigger does not insta-lynch. Basically if he calls a double lynch the two players who get the most votes at the end of the day are lynched. He doesn't have the power to stop the day early. Role wording changed to avoid confusion.

Does a PGO Mayor shoot people who visit him, or does that get blocked by BGs?

PGO Mayor shoots people who visit him. BGs dont stop the Mayor from shooting anyone (unless its the Pardoner).
