On TL Mafia its pretty common for them to also be Bulletproof (immune to night kills) although common variants include investigation immune (return Town to dt) and one shot bulletproof (like vets). Its a notoriously hard role to play Survivors- win by surviving until one party is victorious. They may or may not have powers, depending on the host. A popular variant is to make them hiders. Village Idiots also called Jesters, win when they are lynched. They lose if they are night killed. They usually don't possess any special powers, and try to get lynched day 1. One variant is to place several jesters and make it so that only the first to be lynched wins, while the rest are removed from the game and lose. planar dragons- are a secret 3rd party role which will hopefully see light when I host Epic Role Mafia. As a hint, its investigation immune, an it has the ability to screw with vote tallies. Bonus fact! Another third party role is the Lyncher who can only win if a certain player is lynched. They are usually paired with survivors, depending on the host they are either removed upon success or have the lyncher win condition AND the town win condition, making them keep playing after successfully killing their target. A fun thing to do is to have two opposed lynchers who must get each other killed to win ^_^ | ||

lyncher is also usually paired with village idiots. one thing gmarshal didn't mention is that the lyncher's target is supposed to be town. let's move onto town roles. 3rd party are overrated, unless they are cthulhu worshippers how about the innocent child? | ||
