sigh, I can actually explain this. I found out a little while ago that I don't get informed of medic protections. The truth is actually that I am a veteran. Generally I believe it is better to claim you are medic protected as opposed to claiming veteran status. Claiming you took a hit basically means "quick shoot again" in this case, even more so because my extra life regenerates.

I generally have always advocated claiming to have been saved, as opposed to claiming medic protection since it fucks with the mafia more. When I found out a few hours ago that no one is informed of a medic save I was considering claiming the truth since I figured the mafia probably know already.
