And more than you would think can be done by pure analysis. The player flipping is vindication that you are on the right track, but if you're doing your job correctly, you don't really need it.

Second, I'm not sure I understand this question. Presumably except in exceptional cases (vigis) the dudes running around killing everyone are either serial killers or mafia. Do you mean the players who die? If so, no, the clues only refer to the killers.

Qatol told me that pretty much everything in this game except for the mayor ability had been tried in some form, just not together like this. Where the games with no flipping are, I dunno. Browsing through the history I didn't see any no flipping games for at least six months.

Mafia shoot someone. Town caught him with clues. Mafia say, "I am vig!!!!!"
SO VIG, ONLY SHOOT WHEN TOWN TELL YOU TO SHOOT. Think of it as double lynch or something.

The clues will make no distinction based on the alignment of the player that makes the kill. It's up to the players to decide how to deal with that.

I don't want to advise on strategy, but I'd think that if everybody you suspected started claiming vigi something would be up, no? In addition, don't forget that the mayor has an ability that can provide valuable information in situations like these.

I don't see why this is bad. Remeber, clues are a suppliment to analysis, rather than a replacement. I guarentee you that it won't be that simple.

This game will begin with night 0, a 24 hour period where you are able to chat / ask questions. No night actions will take place night zero.
There will be an example clue post (with awnsers posted at the start of day 1) for you guys to practice.

Haha, I know that, I was just trying to think up an example. Just because I didn't sum up every possible outcome doesn't mean its wrong. The point is is that alot of times, at least to me, there are lynches which "decide" the next day's lynch. For example when its a dt vs a mafia claiming dt, and both claim to have checked each other.

Also, since we are on the topic of strategy before people have been assigned roles, how 'bout them DT's?

It seems like they will be extremely valuable as they will be one of the few sources of information. While we shouldn't rely on DT's, we should at least discuss how they can maximize their potential, if they are actually in the game. How long should they gather information before letting us know what they have found?

It says that bodyguards are publicly announced. This is correct? I got a different impression talking to LSB earlier.

Mafia KP isn't mentioned anywhere. Do they even have KP? Will we know the formula for how KP is calculated?

I'm currently on an indefinite hiatus from TL =(
