Btw wasn't the winning condition: If I lynch you and you're on the same team that I am on, I lose. Yes, but how can you claim victory if you're dead too? =) In the case of the Jester, you would only win if you get lynched... This is a tough call. Village Idiot ftw.

This game has effectively turned into an endurance game. Whoever quits last wins.

Sigh, I just have no incentive to post anymore...

It's too bad that in order to lynch anyone we needed a majority vote but at the same time if a majority vote did not coalesce the Day would still end. Also, in this game, at least one of the players is unlynchable. These two factors coupled together requires that the action of the game take place at Night. So, what would be preferable is to get the lynch vote over with, determine that Mafia has stalled the vote and the Town is too complacent to analyze correctly and get back to the Night so that more action can occur.
However, when the mod does not change the Phases regularly and not fast enough, the game languishes at a point where people won't get lynched and nothing happens.
For contrast, in DrH's Experimental Mini Mafia, we also had majority vote but as soon as majority was achieved the Day would end AND unless a majority was achieved the Day would not end.
I will again voice my support to keep this game running but only a few people have even replied to that proposition so I won't ask Caller about it. This game has pretty much ground to a halt. If something does not happen soon, this game will never start back up again. That is a shame because I would like to see it resolve.

well, there are two ways to resolve it.
either i start infinite lynch cycle (meaning we lynch and lynch until somebody dies) or rocks fall and everybody dies.
this is mostly my fault for trying to run a game during finals week, though.

Well, I guess my question to Caller is the following. Are there no other options?
What is the incentive of using infinite lynch cycles? It's already become clear that at least one player is Unlynchable. That player cannot be eliminated unless you make it Night at least some point in the game.
Also, let's say that the Town successfully pulls off a lynch, will you be there to announce the results? Is there a time limit per lynch cycle?

How would you deal with the Unlynchable?
Also, will you be around to count votes?
Finally, would votes still be weighted by number of regions?

Finally, would votes still be weighted by number of regions? a) assumptions ^_^ b) yes c) yes and no. It'll be of regions that aren't neutral. So if there are 3 neutral regions, majority is 14 instead of 16.
|
What will the win conditions be?
First faction to have the majority?
Standard? ie. Town wants to eliminate Mafia? Mafia wants to have equal numbers with Town? Third Party is special?
This is the current map as far as I know:

Fuck that, I told you all not to listen to him claim he is unlynchable.
Not that Caller confirmed or denied, but maybe now you all have some hope. Because then we can just turn it into an infinite game of lynch Ace that will never end. We will go down in history.

OR, we could just resurrect the Daimyo of Redavi... and let his voice unify the land once again. =)

excuse me? Only Shimafigumi want a unified Japan. You scum.
|
Maybe what I meant was a voice to rally the free nations around the goal to expel the Shimafigumi... =)
|
lol oh my bad guys, I'm scum.
|
Oh, I think we all knew that already... The stubborn Townies just made it really hard to band together and eliminate you.
