+ Show Spoiler + Fnatic 4-man dives Maokai in botlane and get first blood, UoL gets nothing in return. Then a bit later, UoL 4-man dives Vladimir in bot, but Fnatic get top turret for it but UoL also get a dragon. UoL dives Vladimir again just as he gets back from lane, but this proved to be a mistake because Fnatic gets the 2nd turret top for it. UoL plays poorly after that and falls behind substantially (10% gold). At the fight for UoL's 3rd dragon there is some miscommunication and the teams end up being roughly equal to each other, but Fnatic does a really gimmicky baron which gets punished severely (+ kikis stole it). Game goes on for a bit more but it was pretty much over after that. | ||

Let's just not hope now that Varus mid is the new old Nidalee.. Varus is immobile, I can live with this champion having Nidalee spears. The counter to him is burst, his ultimate is game changing and discourages dives, but if he dies before shooting a few arrows he's a wasted pick. Nidalee was/is impossible to catch, she was weak in a face-to-face situation usually, but if she can't catch her??? Also split push. I think Zed might be a good pick against him, and Febi is a good Zed player, so there's a possible idea. But I doubt UoL will run Varus again, he was a surprise pick. | ||
