I disagree, I think that the near-solo kill of Fox showed that the matchup would swing in her favor eventually. The problem was Viktor himself, and of all people to give it to, they gave it to Kuro. Kuro mows teams over with that champion, and GE knows how to play with it extremely well. If I'd have to rewrite SKs pick phase, I'd have replaced Cait and Nidalee. Sven and Forgiven showed they were very good at those champs, but they only had one front line champion, and Cait is just in a bad spot right now. Props to GE for banning out Forgiven though, that's probably the main reason he did go for Cait, he needs to grow a bigger champion pool, it's hurting him (could've taken Corki from Pray). And Sven had a lot of different champs to choose, J4 was open, he's a great pick vs Viktor, might've discouraged the pick and maybe taking Gnar away, but picking Cait first is not good since she is not a strong champion herself, GE ran Corki Janna to shut down that early pushing power combined with a massive power spike mid game, where a non-fed Cait does very poorly.

Meta difference showed. SK played well but meta favors Korea. Maokai is OP and should be banned. Diana did really well.

Still concerned C9 tilts their way to losing against yoe. Not excited for that possibility, EU fanboys will be fucking insufferable if that happens.

So, there is no evidence of them being better than GE, beside assumption they don't try and will go ham in playoffs/in important games.

Not banning Mao (over Zed) was biggest/most glaring. I still think teams/players need to play what they're strongest with, which is why Fox's Diana wasn't that bad of a decision in my eyes. He did almost solo kurO fwiw and if the jungle pressure was slightly different, he could've won lane, etcetc.

Diana did really well. too much credit given to SK. Doesn't matter the meta, SK too fucking greedy with their crappy ward control, and nrated's heaviness. SK would be lucky to get a game win in a bo5 vs GET. Maybe on reddit. but plz, we're all korean overlord worshipers here. Are they (SKT, EDG and Snake) even comparable? EDG and Snake are what I would consider ADC-centric teams. Whereas SKT relies a lot on Faker and their rotation + overall macro strategy.
