What? WE played an incredible 3rd game. EDIT: I'M A GAMERRRRRR The 3rd game was great, but GE looked tilted as hell after they tried to style G2 and got shit on. G1 Tigers and G3 Tigers is a totally different mindset. Mindset's a big deal and is GE's big flaw, but still. I think people are looking at this as a lot bigger than it actually is. I like how the two reigning opinions are either that beating GE is super-amazing super saiyan thing, or it means nothing, a mediocore feat to pull.
Still, this is why I like the LoL community, absolutely entertaining how people are not willing to accept some things. it's a mediocre feat when there are 11 official teams better than WE in a single region. lol. John Cena is actually a pretty cool dude though and has fulfilled more Make-a-Wish visits than anyone else (over 400) brock lesnar did both, and was top-tier collegiate wrestler as well. I see , so beating the Korean juggernaut means nothing because they suck (with a different roster, if I'm right) in their own league. All right, that's an amazing analogy.

For me, the jury is still out on whether we can write GE's failure off as a weak Korea or whether everybody just underestimated/didn't prepare for/couldn't prepare for WE. The impression I got from Frosk's analysis was that GE's pick ban was really disrespectful/unreactive, as they didn't target Spirit at all and wasted bans on Diana.

TBH the most hilarious thing about LPL is how consistently awful all the games look, and then how consistently not-awful the Chinese teams do when they actually go to international tournaments. Like literally both of the last two years, people have watched the Worlds qualifier and gone "how the fuck are any of these teams going to be remotely competitive at Worlds?"
Because people are still pretty shitty at judging teams.

The absolute truth is both team are in the finals for a reason, so reading how WE sucks. etc etc is just ridiculous.

At first I was cheering for WE, but then I thought about the ego of China if a 12th placed LPL team won IEM. I have a feeling that China are gonna underperform at Worlds again if they somehow think that this proves they are the best region. Don't think EDG are a lock for it whatsoever with their current play.

China be like "IEM such a scrub tourney". Weixiao is casting IEM lol. I wonder if that's what Caomei was doing last night, cause he was also around 450k viewers, but they stuck around for more than an hour after IEM stopped streaming. Unless Chinese streamers get half a million viewers normally. In which case, I need to reevaluate my career.
You just need a 2 year stint on one of the best teams in the history of League. ezpz.
