And I'm really unconvinced that ALL and FNC would take games of any of these.
You really underwhelm Europe so hard :D I can understand it, but it's too pessimistic.
San/Dada botlane is just atrocious, San/pomelo lane pre-S3 Worlds wasn't that bad, and it seems that Cloud got dumped. EU midlaners are totally capable of not feeding Cool in Ryze-Yasuo matchup though, so i'm not that worried, only problem is Gogoing but it's fixable by laneswaps, if you're that scared.
I'm pretty sure that EDG are going to beat OMG and win LPL Summer aka clinching #1 seed. OMG should really be ok in Regionals though if suddenly they don't get wild iG in first round and iG don't enter another berzerk mode by slaughtering OMG. LGD really looked lost last time against EDG, We1less and XQ are good but toplane is worst lane in every region it seems l0l. And Starhorn just need to stop derping hard and pick legit carries for Uzi/stop throwing in teamfights near Baron Nashor, that's it. Fixing vision ain't easy but they can deliver, i believe.
In general, i guess, EDG/OMG will advance from groups just to be slaughtered by Koreans who will abuse Clearlove or poor San but third team is just doomed unless it's iG and you never even think about trying to predict what will iG do.

It's ok, China has the secret 4th Worlds spot they stole from NA.

LoLEventVODs for anyone who wants to watch this weeks games (totally not a plug).

Im sorry, but can someone convince me to watch past G1? This was literally an atrocity. Several thousand fans cast themselves into ravines seeing that game. It was worse than EG vs. complexity strategically and inSec (in-fing-Sec!) was the best player at all times in that game by a huge margin.
The English cast was atrocious (even if the bad Baron call can be excused via the montecristo corollary, P.S. I saw orianna got it immediately), but that is fine, I can listen to an E-book (but I shouldn't have to considering the hype they just got on SummoningInsight!). But the play. Its like the mechanics of a good NA team with the plans of a bad NA team. Plus, as a viewer, mechanics get lost half the time outside of your rare inSec plays.

G3 onwards is fun if you want to see a mid laner 1v5

G5 was hilarious, the first 4 were pretty skippable

When "botlane pls" strat doesn't work and Clearlove blows, EDG looks so clueless, lol.
Make game five being blind pick, ffs, you see how it works in Korea.
GOD BLESS SPIRIT OF THE SPECTRAL WRAITH. GSL, i'm coming back, sorry for betraying for a second.

I don't get it. OMG tunneled on that Baron for a good 10-15 minutes and lost all their momentum.
I suppose it's hard to siege vs Ziggs, but ehhhhh, why not leverage Irelia's then-large advantage over Jax.

Lol. I love that teams still think that Yasuo has lane counters. The only counters to Yasuo are being a significantly better player, and your entire team playing with more exhausts than is optimal.
|
The true yasuo counter is just to have a lineup that is skill-shot-less

Tencent changed from G5 blind pick at the last minute when they found out the Worlds format would be a straight up BO5, so Chinese teams could have better preparation.

We1less, pls. Jokes aside, won't be surprised of beautiful LGD transformation at Regionals to sweep their way to Worlds. Can Starhorn Royal Club throw again being 2 games up?

Hmm, OMG getting a bit looser with their play and getting caught a few times. They're also just letting jax splitpush, although I guess they are answering 1 for 1 on turrets. Let's see if their lead is enough to force the game 5.

Apparently OMG got the old iG coach, given iG's decision making I cannot fathom why. Whatever's happening OMG just look poor, I can't even put all the blame on dada7 like I'd want to. Only thing I know is that this OMG will get destroyed by EDG

No idea what SH were expecting in that game 4 with Fizz/Vayne/Jax once they gave up baron; their largest source of waveclear was, uh, Duskbringer.
Edit: Cool Ahri hype!

Ouch, that indecision in the tribrush from insec. Couldn't decide whether to kill the pink or go ahead with the gank and ended up just dying after his botlane had to pull back.
