Cool, i love you with all my heart but it's too much. Double Yasuo/Lee Sin, Kog'Maw/Nami for SHRC, Tristana/Braum for OMG? Won't be surprsied by double Jax either l0l. Ah, it's not blind pick D: Dammit. Ye, i like OMG's comp way more. Cola's Jax blows and San has safe trinity force adc. | ||

What a legend, Uzi will rage hard soon. Teamfighting by OMG after first two games is hilariously good though. Props. Safe to say though, that SHRC should be favourites against LGD and EDG should win against OMG in bo5 if Clearlove appears. Still, EDG, OMG and Starhorn Royal Club are my picks for Worlds. On the other hand, you never know what will iG do. | ||

Goddamnit starhorn, now OMG will think that they should keep dada for regionals. At least cool is a god, now if OMG can get San a support who doesn't suck or insults him all the time then OMG for best non-Korean team dream is alive. Honestly, watching Dada and even Cloud make me feel that pomelo was better. Still, i just hope that Starhorn qualify, Uzi tries to carry 2v8 with Zero and after Worlds, corn and Cola are going to land in land of apple pie. Anyways my expectations for China are pretty low tbh, while EDG look like a team on a rebound (or more likely, a team actually taking matches seriously to get that free seed to worlds) OMG has dada which leads me to a new theory, that San can only play well with a good support. I know that sounds odd but I mean that with a bad support (dada, pomelo) san looks like crap because of tilt or whatever but since he improved he suddenly looked like a god with cloud or allen. He'll like completely reflect the quality of his support now unlike say wexaio who has a worthless support in conan but still performed before his team went on full tilt. I still think that EDG or OMG with a good support can win the non-korean in the top 4 and maybe not look like crap but it's not the most confident prediction, I don't think either of them are much better than alliance. That all being said I'm waiting until regionals to make a proper assesment on China rather than this playoffs since all the teams here already got their regionals spot so I wonder if any sands are being bagged here. LGD are gonna win worlds tho #LGDHYPE :> When I think about it what I just mused on China sounds borderline Asian parent "YOU ONLY TOP 4 EDG/OMG? YOU BRING SHAME TO FAMILY" | ||

We're ofc not as hyped about LPL as Froskurrin or Kelsey Moser but still, we have eyes and brains, not worse than their. If there will be two groups with Chinese/Korean team, i don't see Chinese team advancing from the group. SHRC have dead meat on toplane, Corn is passive as fuck like it's Season 2 again, Koreans are hit or miss and their vision control sucks. OMG will probably forced to laneswap, so they lose their second biggest weapon from Gogoing 1v1 on toplane, which isn't bad and Cool's back was already broken last Worlds when they hit RYL. And EDG have what, better Corn, absolute hit-or-miss jungler who doesn't gank lanes early anyway, godlike bottom lane which will be forced to play 2v0 and random decisions who're making people facepalming in coaltier? I'm really worried for them, i don't want them to get crashed but if suddenly Uzi/Cool/NaMei don't enter God modes at Worlds, i don't see them succeeding at all with bad luck in draws. | ||

I've stood by forever that starhorn aren't that good and are carried by zero, I still stand by it. I'll give corn a few props for some improvement throughout the season but he's still middling, cola is terrible and will get his face smashed in if he goes to worlds. Insec had a good run today and outjungled drug but meh, even if his game was stepped up for worlds his solos are too weak and insec is not going to be the able to put in work when cola/corn are shitting the bed. Real shame as well because uzi/zero are a damn good 2v2 lane and have been excellent especially with zero's engages/disengages but likely the solos will have a heart attack at worlds and uzi can't carry. OMG, idk about allen/drug jungle anymore. I mean he's still better than pomelo but that's not a good base, he hasn't played well in a while and while I honestly think that cool/gogoing can dance with the ssumdays/dades/froggens of the world the jungle difference may tip these lanes away from them. Besides dada7 will probably feed them anyway which causes sad san to appear so they can't fall back on san. If they had a good support like ahrl/sicca and drug gets it together for worlds then I think OMG can go deep at worlds. My musings overall is that EDG might be able to take a snatch a few wins off the 3rd place Korean team and maybe even one off the samsungs because of their playstyle matching up decently to either SKT K/NJWS/KTA and will do fine against the west. So I think any draw short of getting a samsung in the RO8 will be fine for them if they play like they did vs LGD and clearlove shows up (Clearlove is a player who does perform in the clutch so I'm relatively confident that he will). For OMG drug needs to refind his groove and they need a support who will get rid of sad san, they have the only two solos (and froggen) who I believe if anyone could match up to their Korean counterparts it'd be them but sad san + dada7 and drug being bad makes me think that up against the biggest of boys cool/gogoing will keel over, especially because sad san requires laneswaps which removes gogoing's chance to 1v1 their way to an upset. SHRC/LGD I have literally zero expectations for, they're probably worse than alliance and won't stand a chance against Korea. A sufficiently bad draw like Korea 2nd/3rd seed + alliance and I can see either of them out the group stages. Finally for iG, don't have expectations for iG. Expecting anything from iG either way is asking for trouble. I'm under no illusion that China is going to overthrow our Korean overlords, they may fare better but they'll lose like the rest nor do I believe that China is that much better than the west, Alliance beating EDG/OMG is a result that wouldn't surprise me too much and I don't think fnatic beating them is outside the realm of possibility. I'll reserve my judgement on NA teams relative to other regions when their regionals finishes. | ||
