The quarterfinals are casted by Monte and DoA?
Yes, they will be casted by Monte and DoA. The only reason I can see why they have Maknoon is because they probably lack a leader now that CloudTemplar is gone. I'm not sure that this change is a good change, seeing that KT gave up Maknoon without much of a fight.

I thought CT was still on the team. D:
He's still technically part of the team, but I think they're gonna give Helios a lot more play time.

I'm happy WonSeok found a strong team to join.
Who is the new mid laner? Is he better than Ezhoon?
It's WonSeok, the mid lane from MiG Blitz from last season's Champions. In my opinion, he was the best player on the team and showed a lot of potential. He is currently one of the top players in Korean solo queue and did well in the WCG Korea qualifiers. When compared to hoon, I dunno. I was always high on hoon, but he did have a nose dive in performance last season.
But I really like this Blue team. The last three seasons has had a new AD Carry breakout into superstar status. Pray, then Imp, and last season Piglet. It feels like if any AD Carry will do that this season, it's going to be Deft.

Man, with all the roster changes, blazing new rookie teams, and still elite teams like the Bullets and T1, this looks to be the most exciting and action-packed season yet. I can't wait!
I just realized, doesn't CJ Frost have to face SKT T1? If this is the case, this could be the first tournament that Frost didn't have a top 4 finish...

since its just a qualifier i dont think that counts also i think there have been smaller tournaments/other qualifiers where frost didnt finish in the top 4
All four games this week will be big tells on the Winter season. Blue, Frost, Blaze and Stealths all have reloaded line-ups.
Stealths are probably better than the Falcons now. IceBear is currently the #1 support in Challenger. They also picked up a dude named Mumu who has over 700 Amumu games on ladder.
I'm so sleepy but I have to watch SKT vs Frost.. Too fucking good of a matchup to pass up, even if it's just WCG qualifier. I mean, it's a win win situation. Watching SKT stomp is always fun, but imagine the shitstorm if SKT loses to Frost. That would have huge implications for the korean scene considering how hard SKT dominated nonkorean teams at Worlds.
Still find it hard to imagine that happening though. Something retarded would need to happen like Madlife getting thresh all 3 games.
