This teamfight Jatt showed was kind of what I was talking about. As soon as they see the Tryn try duel then they can engage because of Ashe and win the 4v4 easily. A fed tryn can't really stop that unless they already got all the towers down so he was threatening inhib towers.

I really don't like Trynd pick from Voyboy. I've never liked it. It's so easy to stop if you've got half a brain for a team.

It would be cool if Riot put up one more exhibition tournament with full teams to see how the regions compare, but it's probably too late in the season to hope for such a thing.

The whole point of how the LCS is set up is to not compare teams of different regions.

I don't think there's any reason to believe they'd only be able to beat LG IM. I think they've shown they're far better than the NA teams, and the only teams we've seen dominate NA are the really good Korean ones. Even the mid tier korean teams did mediocre against EU/NA teams in the tournaments they've went to.

I agree Trynd was a bad pick, but they choose to go for a splitpush strategy they didn't/couldn't even try in the end for various reasons. That's mostly what's bothering me.

Going splitpush against an ashe is dangerous imo. Free 4v4 for opposing team on ult cd and all....

The way I see it, it's hard to get a splitpush going against C9 when they have the Ashe/Zyra combo unless you have Shen who can join his team with his ult. Otherwise unless C9 falls behind early they can just engage 4 on 4 and win every time.

Or beating other teams instead of losing gives you much more confidence.
In any case if the skill level of a team really depends on the league they are in, than C9 reached their skill level thanks to the NA scene.

They practiced with korean teams while playing in garena.Just sayin.

Even if they didn't they would've played better if they practiced against competent opponents.I never said c9 would get destroyed by every korean team.They might win.If they practice in korea they WILL play better 100% though.

This so much. I remember everyone (including me) thinking TPA had no chance cause all they do is stomp a bunch of scrubs in their Garena league (which was worse than NA).
