The Format and Teams

Teams compete in a partial round robin for 7 weeks of matches. Two more weeks of swiss-style matchups will complete the seedings. The top 8 teams head into playoffs!

Teams are made up of full time employees from their respective companies.

Matches are a tense best of 1, so anything can happen!

A-League vs B-League

In Season 3, AHGL is running two leagues: A-League and B-League. A-League is a league for teams with platinum and strong gold level players, with winners getting a $5000 donation to the charity of their choice. B-League is a league for teams with around bronze and silver level players, with winners getting a $1000 donation to the charity of their choice. B-League still has many big name teams, including Adobe, NVidia, Qualcomm, and of course everyone's favorite video streaming company, Twitch!

All companies are free to apply to AHGL

However, registration for this season is closed so you'll have to tune into our blog (http://day9.tv/d/b/ahgl-blog/) or our twitter/facebook (@AHGLtv) to keep track of when we open registration for next season.

We require 8 members for a team roster, not just 5 - this is because games happen weekly and a larger roster allows for subs over forfeiting

Also, the #1 reason why companies don't end up participating is because it can be difficult to get company permissions. If you're seriously interested, I suggest grabbing the handbook from our FAQ site to get more information about how to get company permissions and preemptively see if it's an option for you guys.

Two HUGE games tomorrow to watch imo:
Ours - Cerner v Zynga should be pretty good
Roffles' team Epic is taking on EA and that one's gonna be fantastic too.
