That sounds about right?
Game 2 #2 WE had a definitive lead, but CLG had some great play and superior late-game comp and management that allowed them to pull through.

The last d/c was a lot less ridiculous than the first two because neither team had a solid lead and it was quite early in the game.
The first d/c was a game that WE very likely would've won because they were ahead, had a superior late game, and had Blitzcrank to prevent CLGeu turtle. Second d/c sucked because it was very likely only going to last another minute before CLGeu won the game/series (it's possible but very unlikely that WE could've pulled something crazy out though).
edit: People seem to be concerned after the Riot post about a ping that Frost put down. Isn't it true though that the tournament client runs on a ten second delay? Meaning that the screenshot all over the internet with the Azubu player looking up while a ping is going down on TSM would indicate that the ping was likely blind? Or am I wrong and is there zero delay on tournament client?

The delay is like 10-15 seconds IIRC. So you might be right.
Dustin Beck owning up to the mistake of letting djWheat announce the news
@RiotRedBeard @Slasher @djWHEAT you're right - our thinking was that he is a pro at this and will do the best job making the announcement, but wrong call
thats why i love riot. If they do something wrong, they investigate and try to fix this. Shit can always happen but the only thing I expect you to do is to learn from it.

I still really dislike the whole lack of booths. Say what you will about "interacting with the crowd" but honestly, if you go back and look at any of the booth footage from TI2, it's just a much more comfortable and relaxed environment overall (aside from iceiceice taking off his pants in the booth). The player can pace around the booth and discuss with each other more freely when drafting, and there are definitely cases where when talking to a teammate, being able to turn and make eye contact helps a lot. Also being able to have teams communicate without the use of software and just talk to each other directly if they want to is a big deal is well.
I'm actually a little sad that the nature of the tournament means we miss out on what would be some very entertaining Bo3s - after seeing what M5 pulled out against iG (Xin Zhao/Eve/Zyra, especially the use of the Xin Zhao ult to set up for a flanking Eve; Zilean), I'd love to watch them against Sword, WE and Frost (two of these are still a possibility), and likewise on-form TPA were such a delight to watch, it's a shame we'll only get to see them against M5 and potentially one other team.

Cosign - as someone new to watching DotA2 during TI2, e.g. getting to watch Na'Vi clustered around Puppey during picks and bans with their body language etc was pretty fun.

Wait- what happened? Did Wheat mess up?
No, Slasher, ever the opportunist to disparage LoL/Riot on Twitter suggested that it was cowardly of Riot to send djWHEAT to make the announcement that matches were being postponed; he said that when MLG Dallas went balls up, at least Sundance fronted the crowd.
TBH the best use of a booth-less environment IMO is the way some Chinese DotA tournaments were--where teams are actively allowed to shout across the stage at each other (taunting, trolling, all that). It becomes part of the spectacle, and in some way it adds more than it detracts if you embrace the open-ness of a booth-less setup. But in the way Riot has it set up (headsets that block sound, forcing players to look forward), they have the closed atmosphere of booths without actually having the booths to really make it closed and comfortable for the players--the worst of both worlds.

Slasher seems to attack LoL a lot..
From this thread, I saw several posts saying that a Riot guy made the announcement to the crowd, and DJ Wheat just made the announcement to the stream. This seems reasonable since he was the host for the stream, I think it would be cool if i riot guy did it but I don't think overall it's a big deal, It's much bigger that the whole event got delayed, this is just picking at things that aren't worth the time of day.

That RotK nerf man... RotK is a DotA player known for being extremely loud, he contributed roughly 30% to the cheers for China during the International
With the last quarterfinal being announced on Wed. Do u guys think Riot will try for a Sat-Sun event or do the Semi's and Finals all in one day Sunday?

that thread was interesting as a league outsider. I liked this linked video:
