Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |
AP Jayce. :-o
mMe.Ferus did this against TSM last weekend in TSM's invite tourney and Regi's Oriana got absolutely crushed. It'll be interesting to see how it goes vs. Cass.

I mean, CLG, TSM, and Dignitas look pretty close in skill when they play each other. Watching CLG against iG and Frost was horrific. I don't expect NA to post good results this tournament. I will be shocked if Dig or TSM makes it to semis, much less finals (I guess TSM could go to semis if they get an easier quarter finals opponent, like Dig or CLGeu). The NA teams are too popular to "fade away" but they won't be competitive at the highest level in the coming years, imo. A lot like certain American starcraft players.
big suprise if you stream soloq all day long and never scrim. You will get your ass kicked by serious teams

The advantage for winnign a reginal tournament is way too big.
actually i didnt, i didnt follow the regionals all that much except for the european and the USA one. ... this format is honestly rly rly bad. why do they complicate this shit so much

That's only in one stream . It's over 500k in all Twitch/Own3d streams that Riot is running. Plus we've got no idea how many viewers the Chinese streams have.

TSM was pretty much 24/7 scrimming Curse it seems since they were staying at their house. DL said that while they were streaming a shit ton they were doing some unstreamed scrims vs CLGEU. Its why I think Curse will be a force next season. They have their house and they are the only NA team who currently have players actually getting better. In the NA regionals they had advantages in all their major losses cause they made mistakes that snowballed. If they can clean that up and their players can continue to improve they can be very relevant. Allegedly TSM is 0-11 against a team they scrimmed before the worlds.
What team? Also TSM always blows before any big tourney. Maybe its cause they learn from their losses? Unlike certain other teams who just throw out some TP strats and say Taadaa!

Curse is my favorite NA team and I love Nyjacky and how much he has improved this season. I really believe that Nyjacky is now the best overall midlaner in NA.

Probably a lack of homework and not wanting to take any risks in case he has played TF in scrims or something. They're more scared of a champion than they are of ocelote playing orianna or karthus or whatevs.

I really really want SK to win this, and to make it through to the quarter finals. But they probably won't. At least they'll be in season 3.

well, maybe they are confident enough in their ability and just need to ban in a way that they can just play their strategy without needing to rely on player bans. Why take chances when the odds are on your favor.

TSM is probably good enough to survive against the top 'Asian' teams. CLG and Dig...meh. TSM has the best top laner in NA and arguably the top jungler in NA along with Chaox and Xpecial who are at the level that they can deal with the top level. Only question remains Regi who we don't get to see often enough.
And I dont even like TSM. But to think that they are already irrelevant in the big picture at this point is a bit premature.

Koreans as a whole were considered overrated up until MLG Aneheim, when MVP, MMA and the rest just straight up mopped the floor with the foreigners. In LoL they are still in the denial phase. Give it some more time. It will transition into "Koreans are good but boring and no personality" phase. Considering how much the Koreans were cussing in the game 1 replay. lack of personality is not an issue shit was hilarious. Never having watched this game before the difference in communication between western teams (non CIS) and a SEA/Chinese teams seem pretty similar to dota. Chinese teams are loud as all hell. (although Pinoy is worse) This really comes from the Asian players playing in Lan centers while western (non CIS) playing online with headsets will always be a lot more quiet and less emotional.
