It's really conspiracy theorist-y but the pot splitting does seem like something Dig and Curse would joke about but nothing they would actually be serious about in a public setting. Everyone is just talking out of their ass at this point and I'm disappointed at all the witch hunting that's going on without us even getting a statement form the accused side. We'll just have to wait and hope the truth will come out. | ||

Riot did swap seeds for Season 1 when players were "joking" about throwing games. I mean a witch hunt was unavoidable IMO, two popular teams in the finals of a tournament? I hope once Riot/MLG/Crs/Dig release statements. everything will clear up. | ||

I didn't want to fuel conspiracies earlier, but freaking Scoots and Slasher are the sources for MLG. Neither of them has been particularly positive towards Riot, LoL, and LoL players in the past. I wouldn't put it past them to completely miss the joke and then going running to MLG. | ||

Saint and Scarra(or QT or Dominate) make a joke at lunch about trolling and then pot splitting, Scoots and Slasher overhear it, ARAM happens, they run to MLG, MLG has egg on its face because it wants to be HYPER PROFESSIONAL. Add in the fact that MLG and LoL players don't exactly get along(pretty much every streaming pro has bashed them at some point) and boom, recipe for instant DQ. Riot then forces the players to apologize, and let's them off with a slight punishment(neither team needs the points anyways). /tinfoil hat off Actually playing the ARAM is the only thing that doesn't really fit. | ||

Using "alleged" doesn't matter to me. Do you know 5 guys (maybe Canadians I suppose) who would agree to apologize, even in a round about way, to something they know they didn't do? I sure as shit don't. Most people I know would get purple in the face complaining that it's bullshit and they didn't do the shit they're being accused of. The oooonly way I'd buy that apology video is if it was a legitimate mistake by Crs because they had been explained the rules/regulations improperly as to what they were being accused of and used words they shouldn't have. That's a possibility, albeit I don't think that's the case. | ||
