It also gave them map control (which they admittedly didn't utilize). Yes, they could've chose to not take the tower and probably still would've been able to get kills off Chaox. But getting that tower meant more gold to the whole team and map control. Chaox was only able to catch up because Dlift left the lane and CLG focused their attention on the top half of the map, because they needed to give HSGG space to farm and catch up. Bot lane was essentially catch-up lane for both teams. It ended working up better for TSM because HSGG's build was terrible and Ashe v. Olaf is favorable for Ashe. | ||

DL didn't stay bot because HSGG was getting completely dominated top and couldn't lane against Dyrus anymore. With good ward coverage by Chauster avoiding ganks isn't hard. | ||
