Thanks sob3k, I edited that question with a new one
Oh, so the NA forum one is a joke? Hmm....but there is no denying it has so many active users, no?
Forgot to see this. Still need help with this.
A small question, I will just ask here How often is critical damage applied? Is it completely random? How do I know it is a critical?

Summoners Rift is the only competetive map - and played the most aswell Crits depend on your critchance, which you mainly get with items (some champs get it with some spells and you could use runes, dont use runes though they are not really effective). Crits are bigger numbers.

Thanks guys
More on the way.
1. I know there are many skins. However, do they give different skills, etc. than simply having different pictures? I thought they only give you new, different pictures?
2. Ace. What is this? I got an ace, but no idea what triggered it.
3. Options, settings etc. Where do I go to change my mouse sensitivity, enable the mid-mouse button, etc. I went to settings but could only see preferences, etc.
4. When I was on the lobby, I could spectate games. Are these professional or just ranked games?
5. I heard many times people being healed, and saying thank you. Hahaha this is nice! How do you say thank you?
6.When in game, how do you talk to friends chatting with you? I felt so bad not being able to reply...they thought I was ignoring them...
7. Draven's wicked blade says "Spinning Axe also causes this effect even if it does not critically strike." I ... dont get this..does it mean spinning axe ALWAYS applies wicked blade with each hit?
8. Lastly, for now at least (lol), is it true Draven can have up to 3 spinning axes? I read somewhere on a guide that he can.
Thanks everyone

1 - Skins are purely cosmetic. (different splash art on loading screen, different looking model ingame, occasionally your skills will have different visual / audio effects. But mechanically, everything is the same. Perhaps you got confused when you saw a skin where skills' visual effects were changed?)
2 - An Ace means everybody on the enemy team is dead at the same time. (Getting aced means everybody on your team is dead at the same time.)
3 - When you're in a game (you can go into a custom game by yourself to play with settings) press escape or click the menu button and there are menu options for video, audio, key bindings (such as binding middle mouse button) and interface options (mouse sensitivity is here, I think)
4 - It's just randomly selected (usually high Elo soloqueue) ranked games that are at most ~10 minutes into the game. You can also right click someone on your friends list when they are in a game to spectate them.
5 - I'm not sure what you're asking. Press enter, type "thank you", and press enter again? o_o
6 - typing "/r" will allow you to reply to a PM you get while you're in a game. /r person-name will allow you to send a PM to someone (only someone on your friends list) who hasn't messaged you.

More questins , sylverfyre
Regarding number 5, no i mean the character vocally says the word thank you lol
|
There is no "thank you" emote.
but there is a "taunt" emote.
Clearly all toxic attitude ingame is explained by this. People WANT to say thanks, but they just caaaaaaan't!

7. Yes
8. Yes. He can hold 2 in his hands, and have two in the air at the same time. This means that you kind of can have 3 axes active at the same time. It is not very practical and you won't be able to keep them all up for a long time usually, as you HAVE to launch one of the two your are holding before catching the first one you launched.

I just started following the Chinese/Korean seen and have a quick question regarding them: Which LoL scene is stronger the Korean one or the Chinese one?
|
I'd say the Korean scene is overall stronger (many S-tier teams - Frost, Blaze, Najin Sword, KT B)
China has some teams who are able to compete for #1 in the world (Most notably, World Elite) but many of their teams just aren't quite up to A tier, let alone S-tier. (IG is the only one I've seen REALLY give World Elite a run for their money, and they don't do it consistently.)
Are we counting TPA/TPS as part of the chinese scene? awkward question alert~

Ah I was thinking that was the case, but how good WE is threw me off thanks

I still need help with mid mouse button. There is no setting for that. I play SC2 with mid mouse when moving the map around. So....can i use the mid mouse? I know I can, but the sensitivity is too low in LoL...hope I could change it?
Also, I went to my masteries page, all good. But my runes page, its empty...how do I add runes?

You buy runes with IP which you get from winning games, dont bother with them until you have hit summoner level 30 and the good ones unlock.

Edit: Checked the wiki, its level 20 http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Runes

Thanks guys. Still need to know if I can change the sensitivity of mid mouse button? I checked everywhere but cannot find it..
|
Also, depending on your preferences t1 runes might be worth it. They are dirt cheap, and you can keep on using them until you are level 20. If you really feel the need to save 500-1000 IP, don't get them, but personally i can't stand all those empty runeslots staring at me taunting me with the knowledge that i could be more powerful.

Is there absolutely no way to change mid mouse button's sensitivity? In SC2 I use mid mouse to move the map around, instead of moving the mouse left right up down etc, i simply click mid mouse button, and move my mouse just a bit, and the camera will move...
I know in LoL mid mouse button does exist, but the sensitivity is way too small.....is there ANY way to change this?
EDIT: After spending time researching, I found out that the MMB is actually....pretty dodgy to use...it is not a "grab" type of feel. For example, there is a bush at the top of your screen. You click on that with MMB, and you move the mouse down, and the screen will move up, centering your camera on that bush. This is extremely useful. In SC2 I use this all the time.
Right now though, MMB feels like....Its hard to explain, but it definitely does not feel like "grab".
Anyone have any solution to this..? Cannot believe Riot ignores people's requests as simple and as useful as this...

What are better Scaling Mana Regen runes or Flat ones?
It's for my Lulu/Nami/Sona page.
|
Generally speaking scaling is better (save in some niche cases). The breakeven point (where you have approximately equivalent regeneration) is roughly level 5-6. Before you reach that point you will be gaining more mana from flat regeneration runes, but not enough for it to be worthwhile (roughly 200 mana between levels 1 and 6 for Seals).

Thanks for the answer, I bought scaling ones.
