If you use them at the proper time you get stunned but it gets used anyway and she doesn't follow you. Technically you can do it with flash too but it is much harder. Havent you seen tristana/ezreal jump after getting hit by blitz hook for example?

More specifically, I think it's just a question of meta. Vi excels against ADC's like Ezreal and Tristana, but most people prefer less mobile higher-damage ADC's, so her unique strengths are kind of wasted. She's still doing reasonably well in solo queue, but she won't get back into pro play until super slippery dashy champions become meta again. yeah i'd still rather pick hecarim into ez and trist

VI always was about synergy with her own team, not about the other team. Ahri, Zed, and other early-mid game assassins. They like to snowball at 6, she needs that to happen , she's helpful at that, etc. Doesn't matter if that's Lucian, Ashe, Zyra, etc.

Vi can't follow up her ult with a Q against them, and they can both actually buffer their escapes in a way that they'll still cast it through the suppression (timing is very hard but it's a known Vi issue). She's better against immobile ones because they won't end up a screen away from her team with her alone in theirs as she initiates, and they won't run from her burst as easily.

That being said I think my point still stands. Every diving jungler has an easier time against immobile versus mobile champions. Xin Zhao and Jarvan would also have an easier time catching Jinx instead of Ezreal, or Xerath instead of Ahri. It's just that Vi has extra options for dealing with Ezreal and Ahri that few other champions have.

And I've had people blow their movement skill and Flash on purpose to pull me back into their team and just 100-0 me (even as full tank) and then just 4v5 the rest of my team because no one else can catch up to me in time after I get transported a screen and a half away.

- the fact that you can use an escape ability when cc'd (see Twisted Advance, Maokai doesn't follow and you move away while rooted) - Vi's cc immunity is "bugged" in that there's a point in the animation where if a cc hits you it'll apply anyway. It's more or less the transition between the "dash" and the uppercut animation as she reaches the target, been like this from release, been reported, been witnessed live during the LCS (Thresh flay during a Gambit game) but Riot ignored it.

She's about as cc immune as Malphite or Nocturne are, but because her ult is in two parts and they don't seem to be linked properly, there's a window where she isn't actually cc immune. It's written in the skill description it's only part of it that gives her the CC immunity. "while charging Vi cannot be stopped"

Maybe the worst ambiguous way to word it.

Maybe the worst ambiguous way to word it. Huh, I thought the moment she pressed R, she was cc immune. There certainly is a window for the enemy to move, untill she cc's them (the moment she grabs them). Which parts of her so called cc immunity wouldn't be actually cc immune? Edit: nevermind, was too lazy to read a few posts up. As long as the animation works, or Vi's cc actually lands, even when she herself is displaced, I'd call it as intended. It does suck however she can't immediataly follow up on her ultimate with a q or e if she's been displaced. Maybe the coding on it is so difficult they can't actually fix it? (lol)

For 1, I'm guessing Lee Sin, Alistar, and Jax, and for 2 I'm guessing Azir, Ekko, and Thresh.

For 2, I'd go with Azir, Thresh, Ekko, Kalista, Ezreal, Irelia, Vayne, Viktor, and Rek'Sai.
