you think that only super dedicated assassin champs that are easy to stop most of the time are the only ones who should be able to delete someone building only damage items?
someone like annie doesnt need full damage to delete a squishy but she has really bad base hp and short range
if a non full tank melee champion can't delete the squishiest member of the enemy team without dying you basically can't do anything because that guy will kill you if you try to kill anyone else
thats pretty much the balance of it. it doesnt really matter if you're irelia or zed the reason you play irelia is that you can do a lot of damage without having to go full damage so you can actually jump into a teamfight without being deleted

Are we really complaining about Irelia of all champions? Jesus man, I thought we went over this shit like 7 times already, every time Irelia was nerfed. She isn't even that dominant now, hell, the entire archetype of top lane bruiser isn't that dominant (I find it fairly balanced between bruisers, AP carries and tanks in top lane atm) and if it IS dominating, then it's because of Hecarim, not Irelia. I'm just utterly confused about what champions you choose to complain about guys.

because a super fed bruiser when fed can stomp you even if you focus them while a fed tank just catches your team or something and you complain about them being retards and a super fed adc stomps you when your team is too dumb and focuses the tanks
it feels more abusive even if its just the same thing but not as disguised

To be fair, the team performed well with Gleeb at support and Altec in his spot at AD. This was the change they should have done over putting Altec at support.

I agree with TF. You could try the Lichbane/Luden's combo and forgo boots altogether.
Maybe Diana could try the same thing?

if it works like it does for kat where it explodes off of the first target hit by Q I'm not sure I'm that interested in it on TF, Morello / boots/ dcap / void / lich / zhonya is really hard to top.

Correct, it doesn't fit perfectly with his Q but it provides really good synergy with his Red Card for deleting waves and adding extra teamfight AoE.

TF also looooooooooooooooooooves movespeed.
And his ratios are low enough that it outdamages Deathcap prior to like four items.
