I like it. As a longtime Tristana fan it's good to see her get the attention she deserved. Look's wise she's much more in line with the more recent yordles and the animations I've seen look fun.
The new E is just what I wanted, more interactions to turn her less into a auto attack snore fest.

I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to give AP trist the yi treatment and just nuke it from orbit.

I fully expect AP ratio's to go away with the Tristana update, as they should. Of course currently on the PBE it seem's they are indeed still AP ratio's. Thou the new E get's an AD ratio as well from the looks of it.

Just give her physical damage scalings on ult and E, instead they buffed her assassinations.

People said the same for 500 range Lucian.
Her damage will be higher due to her E. If she loses range bonus it is not devastating.

Lucian's case was not due to his "purpose" or whatever. The "GG Lucian" circlejerk was because most people have this cognitive bias and only look at his range nerf instead of his new E reset.
Here, Tristana is likely to lose her range bonus (Riot seems afraid to spell it out probably because of the massive, uninformed complaints of Lucian's 500 range), but you can't just look at it in a vacuum. It is obvious that her new E will increase her burst massively and smooth out her power curve.

Burst doesn't help her in adc purposes/midgame anyway.
Noone in good mind except me and imp will jump 1v5 onto E'd target unless it's going to work as ult amplifier as well.
