Just looking at probuilds.net he's won his last five games with Ashe always rushing 2xDorans into Trinity. I want to see this a the game because I'm assuming the the kiting is unreal otherwise why rush a trinity on Ashe? He also pairs it with Alacrity boots in some games. Are there any vods with this build? Its genya. dont take his builds seriously

Are there any vods with this build? I bet he us using triforce to get damage out of E somehow. Frankly Ashe's burst is pretty high(Ult has high base damage, +auto crit) and probably higher with triforce (ult, auto, wait for triforce timer w, auto, wait for triforce timer, e, auto)

To be good with triforce you want an ability or set of abilities you can use in 1.5-2 second increments and high base damages on those abilities. Having one ability on a 4 second CD isn't that great. Ideally you also want good AP scaling on the back end as well. Look at corki for instance. AP scaling on his Q and R both with lower AD scaling. Decent base damage on his R on a 2 second CD so that every triforce proc he has something to proc it that also does damage. Q with very good base damage on an 8 second CD to intersperse between R's. It could just be that Ashe needs the damage early in order to be relevant in the mid game when her picks are powerful, and triforce accentuates her high burst while also being one of the better single item damage items in the game (since she has no base damage the pen on ghostblade isn't great until you would get LW anyway, and since she has burst the consistent damage of BotRK doesn't scale with her end game well)

I would like to know if the utility is worth it over the IE/SS timing. The utility (and sentimental value) is the only reason to pick Ashe anyway.

I played against 1 or 2 Triforce Ashes around S3 worlds when everybody was building it on everyone, and it was definitely a nightmare to catch. (Would've been around mid-high Plat at that point.) Even with the nerfs to the item, I expect that'd hold true. Might be a decent pickup if your team comp is already bringing a ton of damage, or if you're just not convinced anyone is going to peel for you.
