I am here to play with my friend when I duo, not to play with an unknown guy who, from the get go, refuses to let me do what I please.

Pretty much the crux of it. You don't want to play with someone who won't let you do exactly what you want to do, while not giving a flying fuck what he or others might want to do.

I only duo top when I am with people who instantly rage just because I am duo queueing. There are a ton of people that start flaming the second you write "duo bot pls" and I will absolutely go duo top if people instantly flame me. If people say "pref adc" or something along those lines and lock in that's fine, if I can I will dodge, if I can't I'll just accept it. Since people seem to think I'm the ugliest troll LoL has ever seen I might as well precise that I always add "please" after I call botlane and if I am with allies who go bot because they want to (not purely because they think duo bot is the evil), I accept my destiny although it is a lot less fun.

I just don't understand people who see a "duo botlane" as something bad from the get go.

Edit : and duo top with my duo partners isn't even "trolling" in the first place because more often than not I end up winning when I duo top, and it's a lot of fun.

It is hard to quantify duo queue quality now because they always face other duo queues.

No, it gets impossible to communicate effectively with your team. "GJ" "Dragon" "Can you ward here?" And suddenly you can only chat once every 4 minutes. Experiencing chat restriction is definitely a incentive not to have to go through it again, but it does serious damage to your ability to work with your team and keep people on the same page.

Then again "Dragon" and "Can you ward here" are often great ways to start flame wars and get reporting for "negative attitude" or "verbal harassment" in SoloQ because everyone has a 12 inch shlong and don't need nobody tellin' 'em what to do.

It's not about winning or losing because of Duos. The games are just toxic shitfests.

I think the toxicity has nothing to do with the duo. It's more to do with he attitudes of the people in the game. I do think that when people lolnexus or whatever and see a duo they often let these preconceived notions effect the way they play and there attitudes. I'm played lots of games where the duos are fine, medium and normal. In fact way more then the other way. And I'm sure if you did some real statistical analysis you would find the same.

Real problem with duo is it exists.It really shouldn't.Also you should have the option to not have duos in your games.It is pretty retarded that the only way for me to not have duos on my team is to duo myself.

The option to not allow duos would be fine, but in reality people like to play ranked with there buddies and can't always get 5 together for a ranked team. If your diamond 1 and your getting some crazy situations keeping you from challenger I get the frustration. If your gold 4 and you think duo's are messing up your games, you need to look into the mirror and figure out what you can control instead of blaming outside influences that you can't.

Not to mention it's a game, for fun, enjoy it. And you are in control of your own enjoyment, so don't blame others if you're not having a good time.

Well actually these others do ruin my enjoyment.I am a supp/ad player.So I would rather play those 2.So when you consider the fact that most duos are duo bots and I can't get to play what I want and I watch them either 2v8 or play for enemy team that ruins my enjoyment.Generally I don't mind if I am lower pick to just go somewhere else but when some random people who just clicked invite before play start telling me that I should let them bot and if I don't the endless whine is just too much.

Like literally the only reason I have started playing mostly duoq myself is so I don't have to deal with one on my team which is pretty ridiculous.

Don't see how is my division relevant at all.

The relevance of the division is that if you are no where close to going pro who cares about the occasional loss due to a bad duo.

And again you revert to this "Who cares about the loss" argument when nobody is complaining about the loss at all. We're complaining about the environment created by duo Queues. You could win OR lose and still want to throw your computer through the fucking wall because of how shitty and toxic the game was.

i got reported twice in a row by the same duo queue in two games, without any negative comments made, except "my bad" and "i can't come gank right now i'll be there later"

but my team harrassed the duo in both games for being bad, so they reported the whole team :/

EDIT: that and the slight skewing of ranking are the only issues with duos being allowed in solo queue. its just... unfun to play with them even if you do nothing wrong, and they do screw with rankings a bit.

I used to really like duo when my friend still played and was diamond, it let me see a new side of the game. Also I didn't really feed more often than normal, because I didn't pick chaps like vayne or Cass.

The only thing that bothers me about this game is when I see a player in my mmr bracket (plat) consistently make plays/decisions similar to the ones I did when I was stuck in Silver V for 2 years.

That just blows my mind. When I see those type of things it makes me not even want to win or even play in that game anymore. It's okay to make plat mistakes when you are in plat. But, when you are making silver or bronze mistakes in plat then that is just wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.

Unique Passive's Shield decay time increased to 25 from 15

These changes should make BT rushing for most ADCs interesting because as soon as you start stacking that shield you'll have an immediate advantage in the lane.
