Riot announced an LCS Fantasy League system today. They will host it but an individual has to find a league of 4, 6 or 8 players on his own. That's why the TL.LoL community should try to assemble its members to play together and help each other to create leagues.
Unlike the good ol' TL Fantasy where you get a budget and can select whatever player you want, Riot's fantasy league is closer to what some might know from NFL fantasy games.
If you know how this works you can skip ahead, if not: + Show Spoiler [Rules] + The Draft I have no idea how the draft order is determined yet. The participants pick LCS players turnwise. The draft is in "snake-mode". In a 8-player league Player #1 gets the 1st pick, 16th pick, the 17th pick and so on. Player #2 gets the 2nd pick, the 15th pick, the 18th pick, ... . Player #8 gets the 8th pick, 9th pick, ... . One LCS player or team can only be picked once. Each player is unique in the whole league. There's no information yet if the draft is live or if you can creater an auto-pick order or what happens if one league member doesn't show up.
The roster Each team consists of: "7 Starters: 1 Top 1 Jungler 1 Mid 1 AD Carry 1 Support 1 Flex player (an extra player from any position) 1 Team (like Cloud 9 or Fnatic) 3 Alternate players (i.e. subsitutes)"
You can switch positions every week and can pick up players who are currently teamless. There is no information yet if there's some kind of waiver system.
Scoring "Each week you’ll be matched against another team in your league and earn points based on your starting line-up’s performance. Remember, only starters earn points for your team; alternates don’t contribute to your matchup total.
LCS player: Kills: 2 pts Deaths: -0.5 pts Assists: 1.5 pts CS: 0.01 pts Triple Kill: 2 bonus pts Quadra Kill: 5 bonus pts Penta Kill: 10 bonus pts 10+ Kills / Assists: 2 bonus pts"
LCS Teams: First Blood: 2 pts Dragons taken: 1 pt Barons taken: 2 pts Towers destroyed: 1 pt Victory: 2 pts
There is no information if you can join and manage multiple leagues. I guess we are restricted to use the LoL accounts and are therefore restricted to our servers. "Managing" a league is probably only about creating it and inviting players via e-mail, link or name+password.
Let's check who's interested in playing. You can provide your server if you're willing to manage and probably your prefered draft time. I have no idea how this will work out and I hope you can manage the most on your own. We have to be fast though as the LCS starts in five days. I'll try to edit the OP accordingly.

I wonder if there is LCS spring split data available (kda, first blood, objectives, etc per player per game). It is easy to analyze and see which choices are better.

Compare the first and second halves of the splits, and half the teams did 180's in terms of success.

The past data doesn't really matter, imo. The most important factor in this game is if your player is on the winning team because winning and personal stats are way more correlated than in other fantasy sports like football.
There are articles at lolesports.com which discuss the fantasy value of a few players.

Are there trades implemented in the game? How do playoffs work?
I definitely want to play though, NA server, IGN Sandster.

There are trades, it says it on the website... read it?
Every week, you can change your starting lineup for your roster. Who’s on a hot streak, who’s got a difficult schedule?
Team scoring seems really bad though, especially 2 points for a victory... basically your team choice is irrelevant due to the scoring for players. Player Kill = 2 pts. Team Victory = 2 pts.

It's not the best, but I don't think it's that bad considering the full scoring:
HOW LCS TEAMS ARE SCORED
First Blood: 2 pts Dragons taken: 1 pt Barons taken: 2 pts Towers destroyed: 1 pt Victory: 2 pts
I don't think it's unreasonable to have victories worth 2 points considering in-game objective give points which generally favors the winning teams anyways.

Yeah but it means if you have a mega comeback somehow after being down dragons and barons, e.g. slugging it out until 80k gold, you don't really get rewarded for the team grinding out a win.

No idea. Soon(TM)
You probably need an invite by a league manager or have to create a league for yourself and invite a minimum of 3 players.
That said currently the fantasy page is blank white and sais: {"region":"EUW"}

Teams will score comparatively less than individual players, but that doesn't mean team choice is irrelevant. There'll probably be gaps between great teams and mediocre teams. For example, pick up a team like C9 that's usually on top of their objectives and wins a lot and you can get probably ~10+ more points than someone who picks a team who wins less.
Just going off of LCS Spring, C9's 24 wins and Curse's 11 wins makes a 13 win difference and a consequent 26 point difference. That's not even including all the little points related to objectives involved.

No this is not what I want to know.
I mostly want to know which role to pick from the wildcard position... would a midlaner get more point than a top laner, for example.

Here's the info for last split for those interested.

I'm guessing this won't be like our Fantasy worlds? Will there be a draft? if not, TSM and CLG will play a pretty big role since C9 players would be the most expensive.

I was really confused about the 8 player leagues until I remembered that you can draft from NA and EU lol.
