Was looking at the fantasy results for songbet today and then flipped over to see how far down the ladder I was listed at 2-2. Apparently 2-2 is good enough for 2nd because the ladder goes 1: 3-1, 2: 2-2, 8:1-3. The parity.

I lost because considering their schedule I started Rallez as flex (he's not even on my roster) instead of nukeduck and freddy122 as top instead of Hauntzer.
Hauntzer would have shat the bed regardless (wtf they lost to Dig?), but lelements lost to fucking giants while Vitality suddenly mops the floor with everyone including the G2 upset. As Cheep so eloquently put it in his time: ORZ

I gave up on Fantasy after Hauntzer and Spirit shat the bed (having them + Aphromoo is a bunch of big names that don't deliver... ).
Was thinking I'd just focus on liquibets instead, but after a shitshow of "upsets" and teams going full retards or losing at champ select, plus me forgetting to vote for 3 matches, that's dead as well.

Songbet fantasy hype update

Situation recap, first place (guaranteed sunaj) selects a song for last place to sing.

People in contention for last place, with statlines from before this week.

Killerdog (2-6) Most tiebreaker points, facing sunaj
Cixah (3-5) ~60 points behind killerdog, facing Ghandie
LT (3-5) ~18 points behind killerdog, facing moonbear

Possible outcomes

Killerdog loses to sunaj, then killerdog sings.
Killerdog wins and both LT and cixah win, killerdog songs
Killerdog wins and LT or Cixah loses, Tiebreaker, which killerdog almost guaranteed wins, meaning LT or Cixah sings.

Current scores as of right now

Killerdog: 80 points over sunaj, killerdog has huhi left to play, Sunaj has POB, DL and Adrian to play. Almost secure lock for killerdog unless shit goes crazy.

Cixah, Looked safe against ghandie, until Lourlo just burnt down the fking house vs C9, Now 20 points ahead of ghandie.
Cixah has Huni and Xsmithie left to play, Ghandie has Bjergsen, Turtle and NRG team left. This could go either way, and if he loses, he loses tiebreaker to killerdog by quite a lot, but is currently 80 points over LT, so he should win tiebreaker vs LT if both of them lose.

LT, currently looks fucked.

Got rekt yesterday by nrg and fox getting destroyed. Currently is 100 points behind moonbear, with Altec and GBM and Reignover to play, while Moonbear has Immortals.
LT is almost definitely losing this week, if Cixah and killerdog win, he loses tiebreaker to killerdog barring a miracle. However if killerdog loses (very unlikely) then he's safe.

Alternatively, if cixah and LT both lose, and killerdog wins, then LT was 40~ points ahead of cixah before this week,
and he's currently 80 behind.

If Altec, GBM and reignover can get more than 40 greater than Huni and xsmithie, AND Cixah also loses, then CIXAH SINGS.

With NA lcs plenty of room for hype and upsets

What I learned from fantasy league this seasons : NA is dumb, just pick Immortals players and win your league. Worked with both of my leagues (against me, who didn't thought NA LCS would be so stupid).

In the 3 leagues I'm in, I got 1st in one, and 2nd in the other two. In the two I got 2nd, I had the most overall points by over 100. Boooo head to head system.

head to head sucks lol. i've been requesting a non-headtohead format for every season in the surveys but my voice is not heard :x

so basically I got rekt in my league with IRL friends cause I put too many eggs in the OG basket and was slow to the g2/uol hoarding. definitely my mistake cause I thought the first 2 weeks were just early season bullshit. but nope.

by far'd the TL league though, missed out on 9-0 by a week I lost by .25 pts. but still 8-1 not bad.
h2k+imt core and a uol/vitality sub was enough.

next season I'm definitely going to focus more on free agents. I've been putting too much trust in my original roster every season hoping that the first 2 weeks were unlucky games but the trend seems to be that most teams are somewhere near their actual level (in terms of fantasy points) weeks 1/2 besides some outliers.

been late to the rush of pick ups like OG last split, uol/vit/g2 this split, etc. and late to dropping of guys like s5 spring piglet, s6 og/fnc, etc.

yea that was the first time ive ever lost my league so grats, I think this was the 3rd or 4th season cant remember. Got screwed over by TSM sucking, besides that my predictions were pretty spot on (UOL undervalued, IMT really good)

only 5 points behind despite the big win/loss though
