You not being interested in the music doesn't make it a gimmick. People like listening to music, and it's one of the things that attracts people to a stream.

I don't think it is, at least not in it's current form. Didn't you read that news post?

Or..........................................
I can just play the music myself from Grooveshark instead of being forced to listen whatever the streamer has.

Triforce -> Tank best way to play him tbh. Makes no difference when you can't even touch anyone because the opposing team has a plethora of ways to slow/stun you. everyone has this idea about him, myself included, but i'm not sure it's applicable anymore. his E has seen some substantial changes since he was last considered a popular or competitive pick.
I think against certain teams (and with certain teams), getting TF or anything that remotely resembles a damage item on Udyr is simply not an option. This similarly apply to some other champions (Nasus in particular).

If you arent behind theres no reason not to get triforce on him. you have a spammable shield as it is, you can actually get away with a damage item where most jungles cant tbh.

Maybe you like their music taste? Maybe you want to listen to something you haven't heard before? Maybe you don't have a large music library yourself? If you mute the stream, you also can't hear their mic. It's just part of the experience.

I disagree. A fed udyr that early can easily snowball with a TF. You just don't use him to initiate. He flanks and basically destroys their backline.

I really hate this kind of argument though. "If you are fed, do X" simply does not seem like good justification for anything, since once you are ahead you have more room for errors (including possible itemization errors). Just ask Darian's dcap Shyvana.
In any case, my experience with playing Udyr myself is actually pretty limited. But I did play a fair share of Skarner, WW, and Nasus which (IMO) share some of the same challenge as Udyr. I have never played a game, lost it, and go "oh man if I just built a <insert damage item here> I would have won that game". Never. I have only felt that I lost games because I got greedy and built too many damage items.
Again this is just my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me. But IMO the easiest way to throw a game (regardless if you are ahead or not) on a "tank" with no gap closers is to build TF or any other damage item with no sustain.

if you're fed as jungler, go damage... you're not gonna win fights by tanking the other team to death.

Are you serious right now? Well, to an extent it's true. Flat out being ahead can do wonders for covering small mistakes. However, Dcap Shyv is an abomination that should never seen light.

Dcap Shyvana isjust a hyperbole to show a point... the point being that once you are ahead you can make less optimal choices and still win just by the virtue of already being ahead, e.g. how Darian won that game even though he built dcap on Shyvana.

|
sorry i misread that as if you are ahead there's more opportunity to make errors. Since season 1 the principle has always been to build damage in order to carry. Team comps don't kick in until everyone has their items and you fight 5v5 which is later in the game.

I upvoted it, but no matter how I see it, you won the exchange because you managed to outsmite the Warwick. If WW manage to Smite it instead he would put you in an awkward situation which you might die or at least burn flash.

I have like 20 replays from the last week alone of it working with and without the smite win. As an example Kha'Zix gets SUPER low on red, and you don't even need to get theirs to kill their ass. I maybe should have showed a better example, but the Kha'Zix ones are super boring as Lee/Shyv just one shot his ass right away. Was trying to get some time to explain, also that early ward I wanted to talk about.
Thank you for the upvote, I made this like in 20 mins so I know it's FAR from perfect. <3

you generally only wanna go red to red if you are a mobile and high damage lv2 jungler, such as lee, xin, kha, etc. You also should tell the two lanes that border enemy red to push early so they can aid you. You also need to be watching the minimap to see if enemy lanes disappear, which is less likely if they're pushed in. Sometimes it's better if you just show yourself mid and gank, push, then go there with your mid laner. If you think the other jungler knows, it's best to just leave asap. If the other jungler does wraiths first you should go to the brush opposite of the red brush and wait there instead. I actually wouldn't suggest doing this at lower levels especially against a jungler like warwick who is hard to kill, if only because your lanes will never respond in time. If you fail this, you will be very behind but vice versa, it's very gimmicky and the higher you go the less likely it should work.

It's amusing how easily reddit is writing this off.

As for having the lanes push, I'm sort of assuming in my videos this is typical low level solo que where everyone ignores you or fucks up what you say. It's why I did it on my Silver account, figured no one would collapse, however that Yasuo was a beast.
It's 100% a cheese however that is true. 9 pool ftw.

I liked that one guy, "never would work on Plat+". I point out I learned it form watching OddOne die to it countless times, "Well OddOne is sloppy". Like solo que players aren't... lol
