She's still clunky as hell, and it's really easy to miss Qs, or have them pass through someone when attacking or hit someone behind you when running away. She's underwhelming when she can't have the jump on someone because without charged Q her damage is actually meh, combined with the windup on her autos that make it not too easy to stutter-step efficiently. Because she's so reliant on her Q and ult to do stuff she doesn't bring much to a fight unless your team is ahead/bursty enough to follow-up on an ult, or if she can't kill/zone someone she dives. Her dps relies on Denting Blows but she can't chase as effectively as someone like Noc/WW (MS buffs) or Xin (several cc without ult). Since the nerf on her ult's cd, I just feel powerless most of the time because either we can 100-0 someone during my RQ combo, or if they live even with red buff she sucks really hard at chasing people (she can do it with Q but it takes huge distances, not ones you see in lane), and she can't take turrets fast either (W's buff depends on triggering the debuff, eg. hitting a unit). Without my ult? I can at best prevent a lane from dying by putting them both low wo everyone backs off. Unless so ahead closing a game was only a detail, I don't remember the last time I actually used my ult to initiate a teamfight, rather than counter-initiate or peel. I guess it's time I rotate her out of my jungle pool, as my Elo worsens people become really prone to fucking up before I can even reach their lane and needing to 100-0 people makes her really bad at ganking behind lanes. Edit: actually, moving from the assassin meta to the cancer Heal meta certainly didn't help either. The combo with Flare just made things worse. On an unrelated note, I just ate 3 crits from a level 2 Tryndamere in 4 autos. I was the jungler, and his fury bar wasn't even full. Not much you can do when a shitter gets blessed by the RNG gods, uh? | ||

Not much you can do when a shitter gets blessed by the RNG gods, uh? Right now Vi is only good for countergank, and because of the nature of countergank, you cannot be everywhere at the right time. Using her Q for ganking is hard because the enemy can either outrun you or cc you to cancel it, and without the damage from Q, she can't do anything. Her ultimate is the only solid one for ganking and initiation, but since the nerf, it's getting harder for her to do anything. And I don't know if it's just bug or not, but since the patch, the Q often goes through the enemy. I missed so many kills because of it. | ||

Vi really just got pushed out of top tier because if you are not going feral you need someone to make an impact early game and vi really only is strong 6-11. Kha6/lee/ Elise just much better choice. Right now vi is really only good with certain comps or if u need lockdown on a champ like nidalee or want to pair her with yasuo. | ||

The hitbox of her Q though is there from day 1, when she sometimes doesn't hit people that her model does, or when people behind (or sometimes to the side of) you interrupt your Q the same as if you had actually hit them (which lets someone knowing about it stop Vi from running away simply by sticking close enough behind her during the chase). Her R also has issues where she can get cc'd between the dash and the uppercut (I've only seen displacements do it), and you can also flash when that happens so she does the animation where you were, but you're cc'd where your flash put you (especially annoying because you can't then follow-up with a Q to prevent the target from dashing away). I haven't seen it happen very often though. Her passive doesn't help her much when behind either because the animation of her spells mean she loses terrain to trigger it, and their wind-up also mean what happens often is that you do your spell and die before the shield actually appears. It's triggered by damage, and her E has some wind-up (when she reels her fists), while her Q actually damages pretty late (I was able to Q a WW while he was ulting me this way... what) so it's "easy" to have something similar to what happened with Eve (and still does with Lulu, although at least most of the time the target dies during the animation but the ult doesn't go on cd). As for counterganks she's just not mobile enough anymore compared to others. If you can't gank at level 3 she's actually somewhat slow, gets outscaled hard in terms of kit quality, and she doesn't like 2v2s because that means even more chances to interrupts her Q charge (delaying it by 4.5s, 3s delay + 1.5s charging). As I mentioned once, even Sejuani beats Vi if Vi can't jump her with a fully charged Q. Her kit is just that weak because of how it's loaded toward her ult and Q, and none of them are really good if her team isn't ahead. When you end up so depending on your teammates it gets really bad. Today 4 games with a dc or leaver on my side, one with one on the enemy team. ._. | ||

Figured that would have become an issue when Twitch started becoming more mainstream. | ||
