Nidalee spears are one of the legit most exciting things to watch in league literally hitler. if they took a huge chunk off her heal ratio, that would also make her less bullshit. Here's how I would balance her:
- Increase spear base damage, decrease cooldown and mana cost, but reduce the AP ratio to shit, add a reasonable AD ratio, and replace the distance scaling with an execute bonus to 1/2 hp targets after a certain distance
- Her heal now gives her an attackspeed buff when she uses it instead of the target, nerf ratio slightly
- Traps slow instead of shredding resists
- Cougar W and E go in direction of cursor
Boom, she's still fun and viable for both AD Tank and AP Caster but isn't built Athene's - Deathcap - Void Staff like every long-range caster in existence

As a Lulu main, it was already easy to destroy Nidalee. Now it's almost impossible to lose. Nid tags you with Q? Back off and wait out debuff. Nidalee miss Q? Vroom vroom balls to the walls, E-Q-Auto-Auto-Auto-Q-Auto. GG

Wait, does Riot only keep the IP prices of new champs for 7800 only for 1 week? O.o

I would just make Q base + lowish AP ratio + %current health. That way, she can still take a target from max health to health or lower but if she wants the kill, she'd have to jump into the fray to finish it with cougar. I don't like the +distance mechanic because that encourages staying really far back for safe harass. She can still do that with my proposed Q, but she could miss out on some potentially bigger reward by staying too far away from her couger form's pounce range.

Considering they're releasing like 1 champ every couple of months. 7800 is very fair price for 1st week ip purchase

Reddit not that bad:
The update is great, just don't change Requiem to Reck-a-tet-wreck or some other equally stupid name. And while you're at it, change Twitch's ult back to Spray-and-Pray.

The 7800 price point was only done to increase impulse buys of new champs with RP. When it came out people were up in arms about it being a trial before Riot made it a standard for new releases, Riot was quick to quash that.
Their current release model of "When it's done" has nothing to do with their pricing paradigm.

I just realize that since Worlds/TI, LoL has released 5 new champions, done 5 VU, and Dota2 has ported 5 heroes. What's with number 5?? Kathus would be 6?

Nidalee spears are one of the legit most exciting things to watch in league Can't have an overloaded-1-sided kit. Unless its a recently released champion.
Man not only are they homogenizing new champs but now they are going back and butchering old ones. This season of LoL has been most boring I've played. I've actually started playing Smite instead sigh.

But, it's actually easier to get the champ on week of release than it was before. Since so much time between champs. (Unless you're in EUW. Good luck even trying to complete a game)

I knew/know that at some point, the hype of this game will change and there will be a drastic downfall in players, but i really didn't expect it to happen a bit already. This game is just changes upon changes upon changes and at some point, they will have changed so much they lose their core players.
I don't expect it to happen before s5/s6 though.

I think what's happened is that instead of creating a playground for players they created a factory line. All the constant changes the instant people say anything about a champ or item has created a community that is unable to solve their own problems. At the same time they changed the game in such a way that it's even harder now to do that.
There are just too many overlapping kits due to their decreasing the strengths of a kit while flatting out the weaknesses instead of polarizing them further. The same thing happened with items. Making no dead end items just means that the choices you make between games is so minimal. Yango thinks people just aren't smart enough to adapt builds which could be the case too. I think it's just the way the game has been designed. They took their fun product and kept kiddie sizing it until landed up a state I really don't understand or enjoy.
It frustrates me as I started to really enjoy LoL a few years back after some shit went down in Dota for me. Now the game I enjoyed so much seems to be leaving me. I can't do anything to stop it nor do I understand why it wants to leave.

I think it's a lot more that they lose older players because the game changes so much, and a significant amount of the old favorites are no longer really playable because they get beat up by newer, much more well versatile champs. Almost every single new release has a movement skill of some sort, burst, CC etc. They also design stuff for roles, rather than designing kits and letting players decide the role. They're also ridiculously pigheaded and are doing their damndest to prevent competitive play from differing from soloq. Even picks and bans, staying with the same pickban format is retarded at this point with how many champs are in the game.
