They're really emotionally disturbed/unhappy people who care so much about what someone did when they were a teenager and have spent 0 time ever talking to them at all in the last 3years. Coach 명원 of Ozone works on the maths/timings. He goes over using files/in-house giant whiteboard with the players timings w/ sticky notes. Coach 임현석 goes over picks/bans and also used to study other peoples habits/replays he could get from op.gg etc. The head coach of Samsung (former Head-coach of SC2) works on basically keeping them disciplined/in-line etc during scrims. They also now have two other coaches strictly for other stuff I believe. If you people really think that a country who is so top heavy on winning and whose sponsors are shelling out hundreds of thousands of dollars, aren't going to have coaches who before going into a tournament match goes over math/damage output at *important* levels (laning phase/mid game) then idk what to say. Their lives depend on winning. If winning means memorizing a small amount of damage so you can click an avatar and go 'Oh I can kill him here' is hard, then I guess people think memorizing the math times table was hard in elementary school. If you're only playing 5-8 champs, it's not hard to memorize "My E-Q at this level does X against X Armor/MR value". Dandy used to do stuff on his own, going into single-player w/ different masteries/rune sheets and timing his clear times differently. He'd only do this for like 3-4 champions since he knew that would be all he would be picking/playing in the tournament. Doing this math probably isn't important 100% of the time. edit - for the non-so-toxic people, I've said many times I'm not *currently d1* I hit it on stream before going back to USA for the emergency lung-treatment for 6weeks(early february). I played some placements prior (soft-reset) then some games. While in America I didn't want to the decay to affect it entirely (going into gold) so I let a Korean friend use the ID to prevent that a bit, he didn't do very well but oh well. I came back and HoTS got released so I played that non-stop. I just started playing league about 1.5weeks ago or so again after the HoTS wipe, so the only ID's I have that *mine* are D5/p1/p4/g1/g3/s4 . Gonna take me a while to get back, I'm learning new champs/new lane and yes I'm quite bad in current shape, no denying that. Also never said I'd play in LCS ever, said I got invite from coke-league team. I'd be bad in LCS, but maybe if given time could do well (2-3months) I don't know, it's my opinion.

Phreak talked about it in that video that was posted a while back. Armour quints weren't touched, so it's now much more effective to run health seals and armour quints if supporting. Depending on which support you were, you might take an AP quint or two as well.

Perhaps someone can explain, what my current state (admittedly compromised by booze, thank god for Fridays!) feels is a Riot-smite-steal-fetish.

I mean, smite stealing red, blue, dragon, and baron is already pretty strong/sometimes crushing. It's to reward counter jungling without forcing you to stick around forever.
