I'm less annoyed by champions having cast animations, than by all those who either don't have them, or have quirks around them (like how Irelia's E's range only makes up for the animation itself when facing a melee champ. Or the fact that some champions have fast enough auto animations (Renekton amongst them) that if you're both at 5 HP and you use most targeted dashes they'll attack faster than you close the gap between their auto range and center and kill you*). On the other hand I know I shouldn't try a dash like that vs Lee, Renekton, Riven, etc. because if they use their PB-AoE spell (Riven's W, Renek's Q, Lee's E but he can also just Q you if there's no minion and you'll dash into it) you'll get hit before you reach them and die. Of course if we go into abilities there's the whole bullshit about hitboxes, like Nidalee's and Thresh's Q. Jarvan could use the nerf to his EQ width being reversed, at least partially, too. Poor guy has so much competition. * from how I got it, dashes like Resonating Strike, Leap Strike, Bladesurge, etc. deal their damage when you hit the center of the model rather than the edge (which is why the models overlap at the end of the dashes, cf. what caused the Fiddlesticks' E bug long ago). It's probably linked to ranges, with the auto being measured from edge to edge and the abilities from center to center, and these dashes being abilities (even if Bladesurge applies on-hits) they connect to the center rather the edge. Of course She's still a good pusher, i think the change to her E from lowering mr/ her ult ratio nerfs really hurt her mid. She still is far from weak though. | ||

 And she doesn't clear fast during sieges either, which is pretty important, especially when on the defensive side. Like Swain, she really struggles to find farm once teams start grouping because no AD, short auto range, and not really able to AoE clear instantly (he can't just spam Nevermove, especially if he maxed it last). | ||

I mean I can see riot wants to make assassins, tanks, and "true" mages all equally balanced and equally playable, but it's so annoying playing against a team where the strategy is to buff the jax. | ||
