If anyone is interested in stalking seraph in NA he's doing his placements atm. He was streaming for a few minutes before kelby told him not to.

The difference is that ap mages can actually retaliate because he doesn't stupidly silence them for 2.5 seconds anymore and has to actually get an autoattack in to deal decent dmg instead of chunking 80% with RQE alone. Except they can't cause herp derp billionty health magic shield.

Also wondering about european pro players, are they split between both servers or do the majority of them play on the same one?

That said, if you want to play with people from TL, go EUW. I'm one of like 4 people on EUNE, and I'm not even very active. EUNE has a lot of eastern yorup guys if you want that though.

And this is the main reason I laugh when people complain about EUW stability issues. Riot split EU because there was too many people and couldn't be supported, yet the people for the most part refuse to split to the second server.

But most spells have a casting animation even if they don't have a "cast time" (Ryze has a significant wind-up on his W due to the animation which is why you'll never get a Rune Prison off at max range if your target is running away). I'm not sure how this plays out wrt interrupting spells: Ezreal's ult has a cast time but can't be interrupted, in his case it's stated as an exception (Lux's ult is lumped with it but I don't know if she has a cast time? Does the bar appear?), animations are easily interrupted by running out of range but iirc they'll proceed through cc once they've started (it bones Irelia wrt her E because the short range+slow as heck animation means your opponent has the time to use an ability during the animation and it'll go off, for example Renekton can negate the stun at early levels of E if he has 50 fury and his W available because the long-ass animation takes most of the duration and he'll be able to move before Irelia). Then you have bullshit like Riven who used to be able to Q when cc'd, Lee's ult that instantly roots the target then kicks it after a small delay (you can't use escaps but if you cc him the kick will go through anyway), Lissandra's ult has a delay between registering the cast and the stun for some reason (which allows Lee to cast his ult after yours and the kick will go through during the stun, or more universally people can use escapes after the cast registers and they'll be stunned on their arrival point; Flashing out takes most of the duration for Lissandra to walk back in range for her other spells so it's really annoying). One thing I'm not sure about is if displacements are different from stuns in that regard: if Ryze starts his W and you stun him he should complete the animation. If you knock him up I don't know what should happen. Disclaimer: I didn't check every single spell in the game for this, I'm operating based on the behaviour I've noted for some abilities because it makes more sense to assume the others work the same way than that I've found some new bullshit. If it's the latter then some champions have a (more or less) significant advantage in terms of execution and outplaying cc because of this.* * which is the case for Riven regardless because Riot put the "fighting game" analogy up to the point that most of her moveset in cancellable into other specials. >_> Fun fact: When you cast spells with a 'cast time' there is a little blue bar that appears briefly at the bottom of your screen that fills up during the duration of the cast time. You can tell if a spell's cast is interruptable or not from this: Channels that can be interrupted start with the bar full and drain to 0 (e.g. fiddlesticks ult), while casts that can't be interrupted start with the bar empty and fill to full.

Unless it was an undocumented change at some point, this on the wiki is wrong too: Soul Shackles can hit nearby stealthed champions, but does not grant sight of any sort. The visual effect of the tether will additionally not follow the target's movements as long as they remain stealthed. I (once, long ago) pressed R after a Twitch stealthed and followed him using the tether, then hit a "blind" binding by casting toward its former end during the stun. Useful fun fact for learning how an ability works though, thanks for sharing!

I did that once as Viktor, mashed my R on reflex when she stopped walking toward me after hitting a binding, I heard the full casting sound (didn't see any animation but then again she was under Chaos Storm's big gfx so I didn't see much) but I didn't get affected by her ult. That was super old though, like at a time when Morgana was still run mid.
