Looking into shaving a tad off Renekton's early game to give him a stronger late game. Later posts throw out ideas like switching to total AD scaling instead of bonus, or removing the shred from RageE for longer range or a 3rd dash. | ||

I mean, I heavily dislike playing against him (can't blame me, the stuff I play most top is Olaf/Jax, and before the meta shafted them Irelia and Pantheon too), but there's some kind of solace in the fact that as the game goes on he'll be less threaening. Now of course they can do it in a sensible manner that means he's still a lane bully whose power gradually diminishes as the game progresses, but I'll be remaining wary of what Riot does wrt power curves. If they end up flattening his, then it'll be pretty telling regarding their long-term goals and I'll shudder every time I pick Pantheon. ^ Riot's stance on that one seems to be "Renekton bullies too hard early, we'd rather weaken his pre-9, but it'd be hard on him so we have to buff his late game to compensate", which is different from "he falls off to much, let's buff his late, altough that'll require us to nerf his early game". | ||
