how do you guys build tristana? Because she's like the only adc I can be adequate at, and atm I'm going Vamp->brownboots->shiv->boots^boots->botrk->BT->LW->GA. Basically getting shiv and botrk quick to try and dodge the massive valley that tristana falls into midgame and get really good push/farm (Generally hitting 250+cs@25 minutes which isn't bad for bronze right?:d ) It just feels weird and several people have said I'm dumb for building aspd on Tristana even though she has Q, but in my mind the minor inefficiency is negated by the better farm and ability to push lanes very quickly, but I'm just a bronzie :dddddddd | ||

I'd only go shiv first if I had a support duoing with me knowing we were pushing hard so they know to ward properly. You're better off with botrk and IE as a 2 item timing. | ||

Imagine you climbing up a ladder, filled with perils, and risk. then you get to a nice spot, after all that hard work. Only for some dude to say "nah, fuck all your hard work" and then kicks you off, and you barely grasp onto a rung. there you hold on with your fingers, far far below where you once were. Think Tower of God, except more unfair. | ||

That is because it matches what most other ADCs go, so your powercurve will be similar, plus it sets you on the path towards her best lategame build. Sometimes you get destroyed too much to ever afford that BF sword though, but in those matchups, I'd just not pick her... | ||

You have zero AD ratios that would be boosted by the extra damage unlike every other ADC in the game. It's all about your auto and spitting out crits every second. I get a lot of shit for going bork on Tristana until they see me melting people, tanks and squishies alike. It also gives some good disengage considering everybody and their brother is playing some tank that sticks to carries like glue, so with your rocket jump you should be able to escape from a lot. | ||

If I have above 1550 I go IE, if lower, I grab cutless/vamp and go into Bork. I follow the same philosophy with PD/Shiv(trifroce on Varus) I get whichever I have the gold for when I back. Generally my build path on Trist is IE -> lifesteal/zeal -> LW -> BT/Bork -> PD/Shiv with boots thrown in there somewhere and finish with whatever defensive item I feel is best at the time. | ||

I support this build order. Maybe PD before LW if you don't really need the ArPen but the rest is sound. Ashe and Trist are two ADC that definitely work better with IE than BT. Neither of their kits have skills that really scale with AD. They mainly autoattack. Edit: Crusnik brings up a great point of how much gold you have when you back. If you have enough for BF on first back, buy BF. Otherwise buy the pieces for Cutlass. But even if you get BF first, I'd still finish BotRK first. The active is that important. | ||
