That's good then, you know where you need to improve. Better you lose a game and identify how you yourself could have tipped the scales rather than get carried and be no better for it.

god.. i was plat 5 and i got placed into Silver 1 lol (4-6.. or was it 3-7)
Tore through so far.. my total record is 18-12 so from Silver 1, I went 14-6 and I'm so far in Gold 3 at 0 points.
7-2 with blitzcrank tho huehuehue

It's 'k, I'm on my way to Bronze from Plat V. I can't play Thresh for the life of me.  And seeing how frustrated I am when I wreck the opposing duo 1v2, zoning them and still my AD has less farm than the opposing one, I feel like I can understand how I make people feel when they end up putting my AD carry.
The part that amuses me the most is how the worst player I've seen was on my first match, theorically the one with the highest Elo. It was a Fizz who wasn't simply having a bad game, he just had no insight or mechanical ability (every ult I saw him use was a miss, at range or point-blank, in plain view or from a bush, etc. he missed most of his E too, jumping on top of a moving target, then missing them as he reactivates it; he ended up getting 1v1'd by their Sona 2-3 times  ). I'd only seen that when spectating low Bronze games previously, never in my own, and since that was the first one there was a handful of plat players in these games too, made me wonder how his placements went that his Elo shot so high from when he must have started. :')
Although with the compression winning the first 3-4 could have been enough. Or he could have been on his way down after getting boosted but that's way less entertaining to think about.

Okay I've come to the conclusion that rumble is probably the best champ to rank with. I thought it was just me facing really shitty people, but it's more like people forgot what rumble does.
He lanes like a little bitch until lv 4, which is like around the 4-5 minute mark (i.e, not around the 3minute top gank timing), and in solo queue, there are very few junglers that will gank a top after that timing unless you're pushing way too far when no one else is. And even if you fall behind massively in lane, rumble's ult demolishes the current meta of dive heavy champs like vi, leona, riven, shyv, etc. Like we all know rumble's ult is really good, but people have absolutely no clue on how to position themselves when they dive and either end up sitting on it or splitting up in the wrong way.
I consider myself to be a pretty trash rumble because I lose lane to rivens, trynds, jax, nasus, and basically every other popular top laner. I suck with every top champ because I've only focused on my mid and jungle champs. Out of the 8 ranked rumble games i've played so far, i've lost lane in 5 of them, but I'm currrently 7-1 with him just because I land the ult and get a couple rounds of Qs and Es in before I die. Granted, my team wasn't completely retarded, but even in the games where I do encounter a dumbass, a retarded 12yo kid can kill a person that is sitting on a rumble ult or slowed by rumble's E.

He's very feast or famine, so if you end up paired with a baddie who's going to play super behind because he wants a money hook under the tower, or who bumrushes at level 1, misses a hook and lets you get zoned 1v2 till they're level 2 1/2 under your tower while you're still 1, it can get very frustrating to play.
A bunch of Blitz pickers seem to hold the thought that as long as they hit a grab from time to time (even if it does nothing but let you drop the enemy support to half then Blitz sits on his ass while they pot up and nothing changed) they're doing their job and nothing much is required of them apart from that.
I know I hate a Leona who because she's weak at levels 1-2 hangs back more than a Soraka and can't engage at level 3 because you're under tower with a huge minion disadvantage and a wounded AD who got punished for every last hit.
(On the other hand an AD who wilfully ignores a Leona trying to pressure at level 1 and lets himself or his support get aa-Q'd + autos from the enemy AD is almost as terrible tempo-wise.)

if you win the lanes and get fed, then you should be able to carry. If you cant, then you still do something wrong.
Also, every kill you get in teamfight is gold that you get and not your team, so if you are the one with all the kills, you are also more responsible for the loss than your team.
You just have the wrong attitude. -.-

I really enjoyed Destination for cheese map king but yeah, I was actually thinking of just having some of my friends dt rush me in bw a few times but then I'll be looking left instead of right and I feel too used to right now. Just need to stop sucking I suppose.

Leona is definitely not weak at level 1-2. On the blue side Leona will steamroll everything.
I agree with you that Blitzcrank is pretty weak right now, but he is (unfortunately) still super effective against baddies.

Leona is weak in that you can bully her with a ranged champ. I agree that if she gets in range she still gets a hefty bit of damage and that it can let you win a trade combined with her good base stats.
I got wrecked in a game yesterday as Thresh because I had a lil' bit of latency, not much, but enough that when I right-clicked Leona to harass her, if she entered a bush (my fault for using my trinket ward elsewhere) I would walk up to said bush instead of hitting her (or cancelling the auto), I ended up eating an aa-Q like that when he automatically facechecked, and combined with Cait autos I dropped to half. >>
Since we don't have a Lissandra thread I feel entitled to asking here: how's she being played in general? I can't recall if the consensus was on maxing W (for the cc) or E (for the mobility) second.
How does she feel mana-wise? Passive and good judgement enough? Needs chalice? Desperately needs blue?
I plan on making her my magic damage offlaner so I can avoid all AD teams (Vlad too mindless for me and I don't think I'd convert harass/leads well with Kennen based on my playstyle), so I assume flask start and Zhonya's first major items is an ideal case, and being able to sustain spell usage off of her passive/drings compared to chalice would be nice.
I know she's got enough burst to make use of a DFG and truck squishies with E flanks, but that probably means you're at least even and well-farmed, and I don't trust myself enough for this, especially as I first learn her. So probably Zhonya's, Grail/Abyssal, Void Staff, something in that vein.
