Gives some HP for tankiness and sustain (I'm not sure he's a giant fan of either BT or BotRK), aura is good for both him and his ADC, plus it's cheap and tons of CDR. I'd be looking at like, IE + Trinity + GA + Zekes as a core end game build, with the final item being either damage or tankiness depending. That's just my thoughts from reading his page though, assuming CDR isn't a wasted stat and having never played the guy. | ||

Yasuo is so much fun to play toplane as a bruiser, I get 10% crit from runes and go Doran's Blade (or red pot) first and then it's pretty much just non-stop brawling: shield is up => dash in q and auto a bit => shield runs out => dash out). Q knockup is just icying on the cake in the early phases IMO and I primarily use it as a ranged harass until level 6. Crit reds doesn't feel gimmicky at all on him IMO, he just gets so much value from them: 2% crit from one rune slot?! His shield is just downright silly if you just build a smidge resists. You really want AS speed on him, it allows him to charge his shield up so much faster since you are locked in attack animation for a shorter time that plus AS lowers is Q cooldown makes an AS item essential as your first item in my opinion. I think resists are of much more importance than flat out health, dat shield... | ||

Or came really close to doing so. | ||

Yeah, it is easy to max his Q CD, but at what point would you buy Zekes? Going over the AS=>CDR conversion isn't bad as it makes it much easier to weave in and out of combat, staying constantly moving seems to me be how Yasuo should be played (at least until his shield is nerfed, hue). While laning Zeke's is pretty bad obviously (you don't need CDR, yet). Yeah sure you could sit at Vamp Scepter for a while, but Zeke's as a second item? Your opponent's big buy at same time would be a much more massive 1v1 power spike, and as 3rd you'd probably want a defensive item. Personally I go for a Doran's start, then Vamp Scepter => TF => BotrK => defensive items and if needed an LW late. Merc treads whenever fitting in backs. I'm fairly certain that Trinity is core on him, all parts of it are fantastic on him and each feels like a massive spike of power. | ||
