Except ziggs is really broken atm.They should revert the buff on minefield damage to creeps that would be a good start to get him in a good place.At least imo it is not normal for a champion to be #1 damage dealer to champs every single game unless the person playing him is trash.

people just stand around and get poked to death instead of playing differently

Ziggs really isnt a champion that has a different style than regular mids like gragas/orianna.He just has better poke and more damage instead of safety.

he's different because unlike gragas and ori he has no built in disengage beyond a clunky w, whereas gragas and ori are much more capable at dealing with people who get in their faces. add to that the fact that ziggs is much squishier than both gragas and ori.
also he cant initiate, nor can really fight a real 1v1

I still remember playing ranked when my mmr was the same range as cheeps. Like 3/4 of the ziggs I ever saw for like 2 months were cheep

If Ziggs is broken there are at least two dozen other champions who are in the same category, if not moreso.
He's a strong mid laner, but he's hardly broken. At worst he needs like a minor CD or mana nerf; a small minefield nerf at most. Anything else? Massive overreaction. Passive scaling and nerfs to early Annie stun duration is a good (and light) tweak tbh,

That's like saying Ahri has a similar playstyle as Fizz. They both all-in people when they hit a skillshot and strong tactical mobility. Abit too much overgeneralization here, I think. The nuances are critical.

I don't think ziggs can out damage ap teemo.
Concering play style, I think currently Ziggs is more like a stronger version of Lux: no mobility, can farm at 1000 range, sit back and poke all day.

Ziggs is just annoying. Hardly game breaking. Sure you have dodge all hit shit and q cool down is pretty short, but he's made of paper. I'd say he's quite balanced at the moment. If he needed a nerf it would have to be a tiny one.

Easily.Every game I have picked him(ad main) or I have seen him he has the most damage to champs.Regardless of rank unless he just feeds cause bad.Most times A LOT more than everyone else.

Ziggs' minefield cd should be nerfed a bit though, if only because at high amounts of CDR (close to max) he can maintain a minefield with 100% uptime (save for the animation). Since a field won't ever be fully cleared, even by someone buffed by Black Shield, it's really strong zone control.

cassiopeia can maintain w with 100% uptime with like 20% cdr too lets nerf her too
