But saying it's shitty and should never be built is a gross exaggeration. The current meta is filled with huge tanks that stack hp via Visage/Sunfire. Liandry's helps to chew through those tanks. On top of that, Guise is still a great buy for many mid laners. Liandry's is a good lategame upgrade for the item. It definitely shouldn't be rushed unless you're playing Teemo. | ||

1) you're going to be building Rylai's anyway; 2) you want tanky AP bruiser items; 3) you deal sustained magic damage; 4) you deal your damage to tanks as well as squishies. But it's a pretty late item, usually around 5th or 6th. | ||
