Since at any time there is likely to be a few top tier supports if the rest can only be played as supports riot is pushing champions into the never picked status. Whats the point of nerfing her AP ratios right when supports are supposed to finally get gold? Its like, if she got +.1 s Knockup per 10 AP in return...then we have something (something overpowered). | ||

Philosher’s Stone will cost 850 chalice 880 which is 1730 total, but crucible is 1600. It would be interesting to see the new items on Soraka though. Soraka with heal summoner, crucible, martyr's call,* + her w and r would have 5 (9 if you count ult Aoe) Heals at hand should a fight start. You could even throw in a locket shield too for 6 (14). + Show Spoiler [*] + Martyr’s Call Builds out of Executioner’s Emblem and Ruby Crystal Grants 400 Health and 25 HP/5 Retains the Soul Tithe Passive from Reaper’s Emblem Unique Active – Healthbomb: Consumes 20% of your current Health to shield target ally for 10% of your maximum Health for 4 seconds. Because she's pretty fotm in high elo soloque, where Riven can shine because she depends on player knowledge more than a lot of champions. Riven has been fotm in high elo solo q since Best Riven NA and other Riven only players became a thing, which was like what? Half a year or more now? She hasn't been touched by Riot for many months and has very little impact on the pro scene too. I guess she snowballs solo q games pretty hard while looking flashy I suppose. | ||

She suffers (or rather benefits) from only being gated by cooldowns like other manaless champs. Maybe if Riot even did something like capping CDR for manaless champs at like 30% or giving it diminishing returns it would help. | ||

Riven isn't even remotely squishy unless you're bursting her very hard, her shield gives her incredibly deceptive amounts of hp in skirmishes which lets her turn ridiculous 1v3s and get away from a lot of things that should kill her. | ||

Or they could do the smart thing, and give manaless champs Energy at the very least, and mana under ideal circumstances. | ||

Nah, Riven has been fotm since that Asian dude named Faker played her on NA soloq then shat on people in tournament. Before that Riven is popular, but not more than Rek or Shen and stuffs. | ||
