The vast majority of people here are attempting to improve and, to an extent, are aware of their limitations. Segregating the (very) small population of TLers who are competent at the game will not help the community we have fostered here. This forum is, in my opinion, the closest TL has come to a let's-figure-this-out-together feel since the heyday of Brood War. Restricting posting ability by skill is literally the antithesis of this forum. If we continue to foster an environment that encourages intelligent commentary, pro-scene news, and well-developed theorycraft, we will continue to be great. Our community is eminently skilled at weeding out idiocy on its merits. There is no need to force it. | ||

What TL is currently like I do kind of wish LoL branched out from a single thread a bit more though. I go to sleep and have like 20 pages to read in this thread the next day. God forbid I have to work then it is like 50. | ||

i guess it comes down to whether the extra sustain makes up for the difference between 10 ad and -8 damage from autos + 20hp in combat. it's probably not optimal at the highest level of play, but in a low skill level solo queue situation with a random support it definitely feels a lot safer. | ||

I stopped posting on champs/strategy and just started posting fanboy stuff (opinions on pro scene) because I was tired of arguing about either really basic shit that any decent player would know or getting called out by somebody I find out is Silver 4 and has played 7 games of X champion in there life. And I'm not particularly "high ELO", just mid Diamond. I can't imagine what real high ELO players think during half these discussions. | ||

Especially if your top lane, and you got your face smashed in pretty hard. Probably more fitting for jungler, the more I think about it. | ||
