God no. Dominion lacks any strategic depth. On the other hand, I would like to see more games decided at the 15 minute dragon, or 20 min dragon, or 30 min baron instead of at the 9 min Dragon and under first tier turrets.

As much as I think NA LCS still has the worst quality games, at least no lead is big enough ;D . EU is still my favourite to watch though, pity timezones suck

Aren't both those game types decided by which team has more teemos on them?
I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

Not since they added the passive on Lightbringer that passively reveals traps. I like TT alright at the moment. I mean, pick bruisers and fight. It's not perfect but it's the meta that's evolved for that map.

Hallelujah. That's great news. I hated TT and Dominion because it didn't feel like there was any good countermeasures to Teemo. I could pick him and play like a dumbass or play against him and lose to a dumbass.

The map's so big and there's so many 1v1s you can't move together and you don't want your entire team buying Oracle's extracts. The games are too fast paced to have someone just clear shrooms.

In order to prevent people from trolling when they're in division V can't they just introduce a "demote series" ? If your MMR drops below your tier you enter a demoting series and need to win 2/3 or 3/5 games in order to stay in your league.

isn't part of the problem that champions scale off of items way more than levels? like the only real indicator of power is gold total + overall kit. The only real 'spike' is the first couple of levels and lvl 6.

and yet items are mostly stat multipliers. there's no big items timings like a blink dagger or agh's or BKB would give. The only comparable one is GA, but that's more defensive and not offensive. DotA replaced RTS tech timings with item 'tech', while league feels more like +1/+2/+3. If you're ahead, you're staying ahead.

The one mechanic they envisioned were temporary buffs (red/blue pots), but they are weak and cheap and not a gamble so much as a small buff. Like a 1000g pot that gave you + 50/50/500 AD/AP/HP would at least allow for a last ditch attempt to win a teamfight and take some objectives or something. Or an attempt to hit a timing and take major objectives like an inhibitor. red/blue pots are just gimmicky lane options right now. why not turn them into full on gambles that would at least be entertaining.

They could. But their studies and ideology likely tell them that would be really depressing to the player who has to go through that. A possible fix to that psychological problem would be to demote them first and then immediately put them in a "second chance" series. But I'm no expert in this particular field..

koreans have really tight map movements and objective control, so when they have an advantage they just roll it up. there's also less room to catch up farm for the opposing team under this kind of aggressive, map control based pressure.

sometimes in NA games you'd see a team wander around during midgame after an early lead, letting the other team catch up on farm on their underfed laners. there's a lot less inefficient time in korean games during midgame so less room for recovery

That isn't the problem. The problem is that a team that is losing is almost guaranteed to have lower income than the team that is winning + a team that is losing has no way of forcing the kind of fights they want. Therefore, once a good team is ahead, they can win by being safe, particularly if they are pick comps or siege comps. And sadly, outside of toplane, the champs that are siege/pick champs also happen to be strong in the earlygame so they dont have to really do anything that amazing to get the slight advantages that can easily snowball.

If you are facing Curse-of-the-Sad-Hemoplaguued-Karthusy-Bullettime, and you are ahead of that team, you should have to face them in a 5v5. And if you dont, the game should punish you.

Overall, the problem is that once you are winning, you dont actually have to be better to maintain that lead, you just have to not be Zuna-y.
