Max is silver 1 Moves to LATAM, currently Plat 4 Im about to hit GOLD 2, once I get back to my country I'll move there and hit challenger for sure. so that's like 4 leagues below cn/kr? Not sure about China but KR most definitely

Galio changes are nice, but it doesn't really fix his issues regarding viability. Might wanna try out some galio mid (AP carry'ish) or top (full utility tank, kinda like Shen). You could already cleanse Q (the stun/displacement part), the change makes it so that thresh can't come in when you do. Don't think it will change his playrate much if at all.

The chinese servers are so diluted that the majority of them are NA level or worse. The one I play on, definately so. I have heard the main server is tougher, but I can't confirm that firsthand.

Like I've been punished multiple times by the tribunal (no permas yet, somehow got 2 two-week bans on my main account instead of a perma) but nothing helps. it's just how I am I guess ![]() I think the next one after the 2 two-week bans is the permaban. I've heard that a lot of people get permabanned after one 2 week ban, so I thought I was lucky to get another chance. I havent been playing ranked on that account because Im afraid of that getting perma'd lol. Could just try unbinding chat or something. Cleanse is pretty situational now. The amount barrier can block is almost always better than the cleanse.

Not like it matters though since everyone except for a few korean Marksmen has become a Barrier pussy regardless of enemy teamcomposition (even Doublelift who used to be the cleanse+qss god only takes barrier now). Not that Thresh justifies taking cleanse though but certain things like Ashe or Fiddle kinda do but you never see pros get out of their barrier-comfortzone. But giving the fact that many team comps with thresh including, often has additional heavy CC, just makes me wonder if the "all time barrier, never not barrier" sort of thing will change abit. Getting boring always to see flash/barrier marksman ![]()

Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to base all counterplay against an infite sustain champion on this stomp-the-blob mechanic, and then tilt it so heavily in his favour that counterplay is basically impossible anyway? Great change, this might have massive impact in the top lane, make Zac less unstoppable and delay his Spirit Visage and lategame scaling by a decent chunk.

The prevalence of stuff like J4/eve/elise/LS jungle, zac top and zed/ahri being top tier picks. Zed and ahri will blow you up with a singe rotation, cleanse or not on the ignite damage. Unless there's a change in the other picks, barrier will still be the premier non-flash summoner on ADC's(fiddle excepted), simply because there's very little way to outplay the damage through cleanse, it's better just to be able to eat more of it.

I guess another reason is that some of these CC champs (Jarvan, Zac, Aatrox) use knockups which aren't at all affected by cleanse. It's one thing to cleanse a fear or a charm (or even a taunt), but when the other team's gap closers are associated with knockups, there's not much you can do if you get caught into them other than take the damage.

The change won't mean much. Thresh is one of the best supports out there and I don't see the change making Thresh being played less.
