People realised that with SV being broken and Bulwark not having to be rushed (because it's always been bad on her) and with the right picks for synergy, Vi's actually pretty strong during all of the midgame, esp. as long as team don't group for straight-up 5v5s. Also, she's been played a lot in OGN (notably in combo with Shen for very strong diving, and a very hard to kill diver who delivers the AoE taunt). (Just wait for a decent Ahri/Fizz/etc. to be picked in your mid lane, pick Vi and camp there as soon as you hit 6. Snowballs pretty hard. Jungles faster than Malphite and more dps later on. Kills drake fast if somebody tanks it for your W to shine.) | ||

I'm pretty curious if you have any replays to post in the replay thread I'd love to check them out. | ||

That adds unnecessary games just for placing which is the point of group stages. Worlds will be cramped on time as is and adding a handful of even more games would be a big logistical issue at this point. | ||

Personally I think the concept of seeding four teams into the quarter finals is stupid to begin with. I'd much rather them expand the tournament and have everyone seeded into groups next year. Gamania Bears and C9 really don't deserve a seed into quarters more than Fnatic, SKT, or MVP Ozone imo. edit: Also, could someone quickly explain the re-surgence of Corki? Was it the change to Trinity and the emphasis on mid game? | ||

Does the 1st in the group stage can determine the opponents in quarterfinal? I remembered in s2 they are randomly chosen on the stage. | ||
