@Jinx - she looks ridiculous at first glance, but she also has the WORST AS IN THE GAME - you are TOTALLY reliant on that machine gun passive, and your rocket launcher might have kogmaw range on demand but it doesn't have anything like Kog's typical AS or damage.
Granted, only played her vs. bots so far, but being a no-free-gapclose AD carry is tricky. She has the same base AS as caitlyn. With machine gun at level 9 she's 100% AS up on caitlyn after taking per level into account. It's possible that at 525 range machine gun will have difficulty vs a bully like cait but I'd never underestimate the power of stats. There are other abilities where slight number tweaks can change an ability from OP to UP very quickly. The only carry with more innate attack speed than Jinx is Tristana, and only A) once Q is maxed and B) she's past level 14. The AS may not apply in cannon form, but when you can crit an entire team for near-full damage on command that doesn't matter much (seriously, pair her with Orianna, Diana, or anyone else who crowds people together, it's brutal). I'm not saying Jinx is flawless, but right now her numbers/kit are such that any flaws are basically meaningless. I thought Jinx's as was 130% putting it higher than Trist. Monte is taking into account that Trist has higher base AS and AS per level growth. Champs with steroids often have lower base stats to compensate while champs without steroids or with weaker steroids often have higher base stats. I see. What I meant is that it's very noticeable when you're last hitting in lane, even at the early levels. That's exactly what phyvo was talking about when he said I was accounting for per/level attack speed and such.
Jinx is essentially ahead of Tristana for the majority of the game. It's not until level 15+ that Tristana surpasses her, and that's only if Tristana maxed Q second (and then only for its 7 second duration). No other carries surpass Jinx.
Some interesting mechanical notes about Jinx Q:
- The stacks on her steroid drop after 2.5 seconds, but only drop one at a time. It thus takes 7.5 seconds for you to lose all your stacks.
- You keep the stacks in rocket launcher mode (the wiki incorrectly states that they drop). However, they only affect your first shot in that mode.
- Swapping modes is seamless and instant, with a mere 1 second cooldown.
The practical upshot of this is that you can get your full stacks, hit Q, fire off a seamless rocket shot, reposition a bit, fire a second shot off, and then resume your minigun rampage without missing a beat.
Jinx might even be able to skip attack speed itemization entirely in the right circumstances. If she's going to spend most of her time kiting a single target she doesn't need to spend much time in launcher mode.

Needing to stack up the minigun attack speed steroid in an attack mode with 525 range could be really awkward in some circumstances. Yes, it's strong, but it's got a drawback too. It's like saying Ezreal has permanent +50% Attack Speed from his passive.

I still got about 70 champions left to buy. With the 8k I have left, I can just pick up all the 6300s on sale and have a bit left over on the side.
