Corki isn't going to wombo combo anyone in lane, unless they were just poor at dodging rockets and too dumb to go heal. He'd still push them out and kill towers like a mofo, though, and doesn't make your team as AD-heavy as others would if your team was running 2x adc. I'd prefer a corki mid over AD Ez Oh, I wasn't comparing Corki to Ori or Karthus, but I was talking about possible picks that corki can do fine in lane as. Not that I'm complaining, I've been practicing Lissandra and she appears to do well against both. But it's getting monotonous.

I prefer mids with better teamfighting but that's just me.

Then again from my experience laning against her Gold Ahri(s) do way more mistakes than in other match-ups (and she's way easier to punish than something like Lux or Zed) so maybe I shouldn't be able to get them killed so easily post-6. Fizz is a bit of the same. Fizz vs Zed is actually a great match-up both ways when you're jungling something like Vi: high kill potential, bait and outplays opportunities, and both snowball pretty hard in terms of camping mid some then relying on them to help one side lane while you camp the other or just straight-up 4-man dive bot. Most important part is to be there at the right time, and to manage to bait the other guy (that part prob wouldn't work anymore if I managed to climb back and get Plat).

But it's getting monotonous. I ban both. I was sick of playing against them before the summer, and I'm still sick of playing against them. Fortunately, both Annie and Viktor can do fairly well against Ahri - I just don't want to deal with her and I don't trust people not to feed her when she inevitably roams.

he might not have the best mobility while W's cd is still high, but his waveclear is as good as it gets and he does massive aoe damage in any kind of midgame skirmish. if you get where you need to be on time for those first few semi-teamfights your impact on the game can be huge.

If you want pressure or a perspective shift that's it right there, and I'm not about to write the dissertation required to explain how radically different WoW is when you're the one in charge. It's fair to point out my future wasn't riding on it, but that's true in this case as well. I've got my degree and 7 years of work experience to fall back on in the worst case. So if you'd like to see how I'd handle it, go kickstarter me a LoL-career. Friends...? More seriously, my fiance is extremely supportive of my madness and was fully prepared to let me try and become a professional LoL player when I got laid off back in April. I decided instead that I wanted to get into game design. I enjoy playing games and attaining mastery of them, but not as much as I enjoy analyzing them, picking them apart, and building new and better things. Nope. Just deposit $20 via Paypal or Amazon Payments. Fair enough. What i meant was that getting paid to do something changes the way you interpret why you do something. Currently you have an intrinsic motivation for playing league "I play this game because I enjoy it," but after you start getting paid to play there is also an extrinsic motivation, "I play this game to get paid." Replacing intrinsic motivation with extrinsic motivation causes people to lose interest in the activity. This is especially so for people that originally had high levels of intrinsic motivation for the activity.
